"What are you still doing on the couch," Jackson wondered.

"I'm sick, I called in," Kat coughed.

"Well stay away from me," Jackson scrunched his nose.

"What a good way to treat your friend."

"I can't risk getting sick."

"Move then big baby," Kat threw the blanket over her shoulder and went into the kitchen.

"I think you need to like quarantine in your room or something," Jackson teased.

"And I think you should grow a brain," Kat retorted.

"I have a M.D.," Jackson mumbled.

"Yeah keep telling people that," Kat chuckled.

"Where's the short demon," Reed asked?

"Kats sick," Jackson told her.

"She seemed fine last night," Reed commented.

"You didn't see her last night," Jackson corrected.

"No I didn't but I feel like she was," Reed smiled.

"You are something else man," Jackson shook his head.

"I try to be," Reed smirked before walking off.

"I'm going to be late for rounds," Jackson rolled his eyes.

"See you later," Reed smiled.

Kat laid on the couch preferring the open living room to the stuffy closet that Reed called a room. She flipped through the magazines that Reed had on the table. She didn't know what to do with herself.

"We got a new cardio attending. And she might become the new head of Cardio."

"Hello," Kat answered.

"Apparently she was in the army," Jackson told her.

"Not even going to ask how I feel," Kat mumbled.

"But she's like crazy hot," Jackson smirked, she could sense it through the phone.

"Stop thinking with your penis," Kat groaned.

"Apparently she's Dr. Hunts war buddy. They did a tour together in Baghdad whatever that is," Jackson explained.

"Really," Kat started to speak but ended with a cough.

"Are you okay," Jackson asked?

"I wasn't okay earlier, what makes you think I'm okay now," Kat grumbled after she finished coughing.

"Sorry geez."

"Just keep on telling me about GI Jane."

"Right, so she went to ut southwestern for med school," Jackson started.

"State school?"

"Cristina said that same thing but with disgust in her voice, anyway then she did her residency at G.W. and her fellowship at Mayo in Florida."

"With Joshua Moore," Kat wondered?

"Yeah."

"He wrote a paper didn't he, on uh."
