As Imogen and Conor strolled along the dimly lit street, the sounds of the city creating a backdrop to their talks, she couldn't help but feel drawn to Conor's voice and his pleasing Irish accent. The night breeze was cool against her skin, and the glow of the streetlights cast a soft, dreamlike ambiance around them. With a curious glint in her eyes, Imogen turned her gaze towards Conor.

"By the way, Conor, how do you know Bryce?" she asked, her tone casual yet intrigued.

Conor glanced at her, his lips curving into a faint smile. "Ah, Bryce, huh? Yeah, we go way back. We were in the same school, Nord Anglia International. He was a year below me, but we did cross paths."

"So, what's the story between you two? Any epic rivalries or legendary pranks?"

Conor chuckled, shaking his head. "No, nothing like that. We weren't close or anything. Just schoolmates, I guess. Friendly but not the kind to hang out with."

"Fair enough. And what about Daisy? Do you know her? She was in Bryce's class if I remember correctly."

Conor's expression shifted slightly, a hint of contemplation in his eyes. "Daisy... well, she was my girlfriend for a while."

Imogen's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Really? I didn't know that."

Conor offered a wry smile, his gaze focused on the pavement ahead. "Yeah, we were together for almost two years. It was a serious relationship, or at least, I thought it was."

Imogen's curiosity deepened, and she hesitated for a moment before asking, "What happened? If you don't mind sharing."

Conor sighed, his tone tinged with a mix of resignation and wistfulness. "Well, things changed. She... grew weary of the relationship, I guess. It happens. People change, priorities shift. We started drifting apart."

Imogen's empathetic gaze met his. "I'm sorry to hear that."

Conor's smile was bittersweet, a mix of nostalgia and acceptance. "It's alright, really. It was a while ago. We both moved on."

Imogen couldn't help but feel a pang of curiosity. "And how did you guys meet?"

Conor's eyes held a distant look as he recounted the past. "We met at a party, actually. It was one of those typical high school parties, you know? Loud music, crowded rooms. She caught my attention immediately. Daisy's the kind of person who stands out in a crowd effortlessly. And she definitely caught every guy's attention."

"Sounds like quite the charmer."

Conor's chuckle held a hint of irony. "Oh, she is. She had this way of drawing people in. We hit it off, started talking, and one thing led to another. Before I knew it, we were together."

Imogen tilted her head, a curious glint in her eyes. "And how did it end?"

"I guess she just wasn't content with me anymore. She started getting close to another guy-Bryce, actually."

"What? Bryce? Really?"

Conor nodded, his tone matter-of-fact. "Yeah, I guess she developed feelings for him. It was a tough pill to swallow, seeing the person you care about getting close to someone else."

Imogen's voice held a touch of sympathy. "That must have been really hard for you."

Conor's smile was rueful. "It was. But I learned from it. It taught me a lot about relationships, about people."

Imogen nodded in understanding. "And I see the two are seemingly very close. I literally saw them snogging while dancing."

"Daisy is... well, let's just say she has a history of moving from one relationship to another. She's what you might call a serial dater. She's known not just for her appealing looks but also for breaking hearts and not giving a shit."
