↪° Jinae's pov

   "Let's see the giraffes next!" Jisung effused, pulling me to who knows where. Now rambling about that one time when a giraffe almost ate Felix's hat.

My plan totally backfired. Jisung isn't distracted, matter of fact he insisted on making sure I share my opinion on everything we come across, saying stupid jokes and telling embarrassing stories of his friends.

I can't say they're are not funny. He even accidentally caught me snickering once.

We got to the exhibit, where two giraffes were. One chewing on leaves while the other just walking around.

"Jay, which do you think is the female?" Jisung asked, intently looking at the creatures. He had a serious look on his face, his lips curves into a small pout and his doe eyes were squinted.

That's a strange look on him. Its rare, not the goofy one he always has on.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer," Jisung said, laughing cheekily as he wiggled his brows. This Dumbass had actually caught me staring at him and used that pathetic line, too.

What the heck?

"Uh. . ." I opened my mouth to speak but words failed me, leaving me both speechless and ashamed. Heat started raising to my cheeks way too fast. I had to look away from him, blinking a couple of times.

"Its okay to stare, I don't-" Jisung's phone rang, cutting him off. He took out his phone and frowned, groaning lowly.

How lucky was that? Its one thing to stare and another being caught.

I huffed, turning away from him. The sounds of indistinct chatter filled my ears, from different animal noises to children wailing for unknown reason, cameras clicking, laughter and raving. It wasn't every loud but still enough to distract me.

I just made a fool out of myself, I want to leave.

"You know what? Fuck you!" I heard Jisung's voice, it sounded very annoyed. I wonder what might had spiked him. I'm hoping its enough to make him cancel, so I won't be the cause of us leaving.

Haha, its the perfect plan.

Smiling contently, I didn't notice that he was behind me now. "Why are you smiling? Did someone fall?"

"No?"

"Cool, let's see the lions next," once again, I was being pulled to another part of the zoo.

This is so frustrating, I'm supposed to be avoiding his ass, not being stuck to him like glue.

I seized my hand back, halting. Jisung looked at me, completely perplexed about my action. He tilted his head to the side, a questioning look on his face. "Jay?"

"Its Jinae and no, I don't want to see the lions."

Jisung somehow looked more confused, my vague outburst oblivious to him.

"My brother has three cats, so no. No felines!"

"Oh? Monkeys then," Jisung shrugged, he took the map out of his sling bag, intently looking at him. After a while he looked up at me, smiling sheepishly. "I can't read a map."

"Give me that!" I grabbed it away from him, it wasn't really a complicated one and I could easily spot where the monkeys were.

I started walking towards it, giving the brunette no warning at all. The exhibit wasn't very far from from where we stood and I could hear the monkey's chattering.

"There, the monkeys. Can we leave now?" I pointed at the three wild mammals, one on a tree, while the other two were chasing themselves, they look younger than the other, hence more energetic.

"No, I was hoping we'd see the tropical birds? Please Jay?"

"Its Jinae!"

"But you're Jay, no?"

"Shut up," I averted my attention to the animals, hoping Jisung would shut up and focus on them too.

"But did you know?" He spoke out of nowhere.

"Know what?" I tilted my head, still scrawling. What is he up to now?

"That it was me?"

"Your Dumbass made it obvious," I told off, making the teenager standing next to us to to give me a weird look.

Jisung nodded, grinning to himself, he ran his hand through his hair, ruffling it up a bit.

What's he all smiley about? Shouldn't he be mad or something?

"I liked talking to Jay."

This Dumbass.
