Move.

That morning I received 14 text messages from Jack asking where I was and what was wrong. It got to the point where the pain didn't even effect me anymore. I made a decision last night, a huge one. I wanted to move in with my grandma to New York. I packed over night and was expecting to leave in two more days. I am going to move out there and finish school , go to college and forget him.

My phone started buzzing, I was dreading to check it.

"Hello?" I answered the blocked number.

"Hey babe! Come over! Me and Nat got some pizza and movies so we can hang out before you leave." I let out a deep breath feeling relieved. It was only Margo.

"Alright. I'll be over in a minute. Where are you at?" I asked hoping they wouldn't say "The Jack's" Jack and Jack live together. After they graduated that's the first thing they did.

"Johnson's." There it was the answer I was hooping wouldn't come out of her mouth.

"Ugh Margo really?" I complained.

"He's not here. Just come over." She snapped back as she hung up the phone.

I wasn't ready. I pulled my curls up into a half up half down thing and did a thick cat eye, just in case we ended up going out tonight. I pulled over my striped t-shirt dress with some booties and grabbed my keys. My parents and brothers were out of town until tomorrow so I just had to grab my keys , bag and leave. I got into my Mercedes and pulled out into the road. I blasted Shawn Mendes' album. Stitches was on and it was my favorite. I pulled up to a stop light and looked to my left to see a pair of staring eyes and bold eyebrows looking back at me. As I rolled my window up he rolled his down. I ignored Jack and kept driving. He didn't know where I was going so he wouldn't have followed me. When the light turned green I got out of there. I looked in my review mirror. He was gone and that is probably the last time I would see him. I cleared my throat. By the time I pulled into the Jack house the lights were out. I rang the door bell.

"Hey!" Johnson opened the door . I could see the movie in the background. I walked in.

"Where are the girls?" I asked.

"Back here!" I heard them yell. The lights turned on as I turned the corner

"SURPRISE!" I heard plenty of different familiar voices. I wanted to cry. All of my friends throughout my school years were there in the dining area. All the Magcon boys were standing there as well.

"I am so BEYOND happy I got ready!" I laughed crying happy tears.

"We couldn't let you go without a party." Nat and Margo gave me a hug.

My eyes were wondering. For him. I didn't see him anywhere.

"We invited him ,but he had some "business" to take care of." Nat said handing me a red solo cup. She noticed my eyes.

"Ha. Of course. You know he told me he was going to leave her?" I smirked and took a chug of whatever she handed me.

"Jack & Coke. I got uber drivers for tonight , or you can stay here or at my place. Drink away." Natalie scruffed my hair and walked away.

I decided to stop worrying and have fun, but all I could think of was how nice it would be to see him walk through those front doors. I took another drink. It burned my throat , but it washed the sadness away every time I took a drink.

"Well , well , well if it isn't the wonderful Dylan Brookes." I heard the goofy voice of Hayes Grier behind me.

"What is up kiddo?!" I gave him a hug.

"Not much waiting for G to get here." He smiled taking a sip at whatever was in his cup.

"Do you know if he's coming?" I asked.

"Nah , you know Jack. Dyl com'on. He hates confrontation cause he knows he will say something to screw whatever he's got good going for him!" Mahogany Lox danced by.

"Hey," Hayes shrugged "She's right."

I huffed and walked over to Johnson.

"Another please." I handed the cup to the only sober at the party at the moment.

"Dyl, can you handle it?" He laughed at my glazed eyes.

"I handled your best friend for almost 4 years. I can handle anything." I laughed as he handed my drink to me.

Things started to become a blur that night, so I knocked out there.

I got up and looked around. I know this room I thought to myself. I was so hung-over. I stood up and tripped over a pair of Janoski's.

"Aw. Shit." I muttered. I was in Jack's room. I hadn't been in there since the week before the break up.  I didn't see him anywhere so maybe he didn't come home last night. I walked over to Johnson's room and peeked in on a spooning Margo and Johnson. I looked down at what I was wearing and of course it was Jack's sweats and t-shirt. I didn't even remember putting them on.

I walked back into the room to grab my phone and saw a sleeping Natalie on the floor.

It was 9:05 the next morning. I walked down stairs and started cleaning up. I picked up all the cups and food off of the ground.

"Well. That's a sight I haven't seen in a while." Jack smiled walking through the front doors.

I looked at him and rolled my eyes not saying a single word. I kept cleaning up the cups and garbage off the floor.

"Okay? Also, I slept on the couch. Let you have my bed and gave you some clothes to change into. Uh, you were pretty drunk." He said looking around the house.

I still stayed quiet.

"Dyl. What's up? Is this because of Madison?"

He saw my eyebrows raise.

"I couldn't break up with her. Okay? Break ups aren't easy."

"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME JACK?" I nearly screamed "YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME. You know what. This is a joke. I'm out of here. I don't know what I was expecting." I threw the garbage I had into the trash can and made my way back upstairs to grab my stuff.

"Dylan. Don't go. Let me explain." He grabbed my arm.

"I'll give Margo your stuff before I leave." I shook his arm off mine.

"Leave?"

"You heard correct." And with that the door slammed shut behind me.

I got in my car and threw the stuff in the backseat.

When I got home my family hadn't got back yet. I had time to sober up and look decent before they got back.
