"Hello?" I picked up my phone.

"Hey baby girl! What are you doing?"

"Hey Jack , nothing I just got off work." I worked at Starbucks now.

"Well look. I know you aren't coming home for the holidays this year at all so I sent a little surprise to your grandma's."

"AW Jack. you didn't have to , but I did send something to you as well." It was Christmas eve. I hadn't seen my family since last thanksgiving. And when I was there my friends were so busy with work I didn't get to see them either. Jack and Jack were on tour it was a mess. So I was going to try and make it down for Christmas or New Years this year but work has been so busy I couldn't ask for time off.

   "Alright baby. I miss you."

  "I miss you too Jack."

I walked inside and went to my grandma's kitchen which smelt like my mom's annual ham.

"Ahh , I miss my mom." I leaned down to grandma and kissed her.

"Ahh, I miss my Dyl." My mom came up from behind me and hugged me.

"MOM! You're here!" I started tearing up.

"The boys are out with dad ice skating , I tried to get them to stay but you know dad. He always wants to do something."

I laughed , "I'm going to go change into some comfortable clothes. I'll be back." I smiled.

She looked suspicious as if she was hiding something.

Whatever. I walked straight into my room and turned my light on.

"Well hey there beautiful." Natalie ran and jumped on me.

"OH MY GOD." I was so happy and then I felt someone grab onto my leg.

"I like attention too ya know." I saw Margo looking up at me.

I was so happy I couldn't catch my breathe.

"We've missed you so much!" They said.

"I missed her too." Johnson came out of my closet.

"Oh my gosh." I laughed but my Jack wasn't here. I looked around.

"Hey get ready we are going to meet your dad at the skating rink. Dress cute." Natalie tapped my nose as they all walked out.

I threw on my black sweater with a collar, a red beany and some red lipstick and cat eyes. My knee high boots and lights jeans and walked out to the living room where everyone was waiting. My eyes were still wandering for Jack. My mom and grandma got into the van and they drove us to the rink.

When I got in I saw my dad and brothers and someone crouched down behind them. I already knew who it was...JACK! I ran out of the parked car and ran into his arms.

"I've missed you SO SO SO much!"

"I've missed you too , but first I have to ask you something Dylan." Jack looked at me almost with concern.

I looked at my friends and family who were all leaning against the cars they all brought. Some of them crying , basically everyone but my brothers , Johnson and my dad.

"I'm so confused." I looked at Jack.

"No way-" I couldn't finish my sentence ...

  Jack got on one knee.

"Dylan Melody Brookes." He looked up at me pulling a box out of his pocket , "Will you marry me?"

I cried but giggled at the same time , "Jack yes yes yes of course." I let him put the ring on my finger and jumped into his arms and kissed him so hard my lips went numb. He put me down.

"I know we are young and stupid. But we are both 20 now and I'm sure that's old enough to know our love isn't young and stupid. I can't wait to spend the next chapters of my amazing life with you." He looked at me and smiled.

"Neither can I." I wrapped my arms around him and heard my family walking up to give hugs and kisses.

I couldn't have asked for a better fiancé.
