William's POV-
I can feel Cassidy weakening.
I don't even think they are trying to hide it anymore. Not like they could, it's too evident.
But why? Cassidy wasn't this weak just a little while ago. So what exactly happened?
I flick up the cameras.
I have to keep myself distracted, and moving, for now. Until there is an opportunity to strike back and get out of here, and get back to my plans.
Whatever my plans are, anyway. I'm not so sure. My last plan failed, and I'm here now.
So do I get back at C.C, or Cassidy perhaps?
I don't know where my target went, after everything, so I don't know if I should give that up or not.
I don't even know how long I've been here.
I quickly put the camera down and flash the flashlight around.
I'll get out of here soon.
"You almost slipped up," Cassidy remarks, moving around behind me.
I liked it better when they were busy and gone, "Speak for yourself."
"Not sure what you mean," Cassidy sighs, "I haven't ever slipped up nearly as much as you have."
"It's interesting how you measure 'good' and 'bad'. You aren't any better than me Cassidy, let's be honest."
I focus on what I'm doing. I know Cassidy is trying to distract me, because that is what they are always trying to do.
"And what makes you think that?" Cassidy clicks around on a device. The one I know is controlling this Hell.
I take a deep breath, partially blocking out the question, "Be honest with yourself, Cassidy, you are just as power hungry as I am, if not more. You're a greedy lying bitch, and are too proud to admit it. You seem to have lost a good deal of that power. What have you been up too, while you've been gone?"
"As if I'd tell you," Cassidy scoffs. I no doubt offended them. "You've gotten weaker, yourself, y'know Afton?"
"You also seem distracted. What really has been going on up there?"
"Distracted? Believe me, my mind is clear as fucking day. Watch yourself, Afton, you don't know about anything that is happening." Cassidy seems angry, as usual, and ups the difficulty.
I know that is a coverup. A threat to distract me.
You're losing it, Cassidy, and I may be about to break out of here.
Vanessa's POV-
I can't exactly tell if it's cold or warm outside.
The sun is hot and burning, but light breezes cause me to shiver.
I changed out of the Vanny suit and back into my uniform. Kind of. The uniform was under the suit.
Maybe I have cold or something. That wouldn't surprise me. I had been locked in that closet for I don't even know how long.
The back of my neck still hurts. It still aches, and it's hard to move, a sharp pain goes through my spine and head whenever I do.
The fencing in the yard is tall, but I could certainly jump over it.
I think that is why Evan stays nearby, underneath a tree very close to the fence.
