chapter 1

Y/n Pov

As my alarm goes off, I kick my drapes and stretch my arms to start another shitty day as I'm still unemployed. Job hunting is such a pain in the ass.

Oh, I'm so reckless I forgot to introduce I'm Y/n, Y/n James. Nice to meet you. I'm a psychology major with 3 years' experience as I just came back to Korea 2 days ago. I completed my graduation in London. Yeah, that's all.

Doing my morning routine and heading downstairs. Making myself some pan cakes. I heard the bell ring. Parcel is here. I might go broke if this continues. Buying new suit is expensive these days. Having this interview today at 12 in a famous branch of psychological clinic. I heard the director is hot.

Anyway, it's in dobong gu city. I hope I get this job. I already failed 6 interviews prior due to lack of experience. God, it sucks.

Time skip

I arrived like 5 mins ago and I can see people waiting in the hallway as I start walking inside. Heart beating fast as I'm getting sweaty due to nervousness. Setting near a beautiful interviewee, I feel kind of insecure. Well can't help, childhood problem.

Door opens with a thug as a woman comes out almost on edge of crying. And then I hear my name being called. " Y/n James?". "Here" I answer back. Dusting my suit, I get up. Knocking on the door as I can feel my legs shaking. " Come in" I hear from inside. Opening the door, I saw a man in his late 30s sitting on a chair close to a brownish table.

I took a sit in front of him and keep my head down. Biting my lip due to anxiety. " Let start with introduction, shall we? I'm Mr. Lee Hyun. Head of HR department here in Mindsight clinic and university." As he finished his introduction, I looked him in the eye with somewhat courage and said, " I'm Y/n James, I did my graduation and internship in London."

Coming back home after giving the interview, I decided to take a hot shower. And prepare for dinner.
'Mr. Lee' as I wandered if my interview was successful or not. Even though I think I did my best and after answering every question honestly, he gave me a sharp look and said our team will let you know about the results.

As I enter my room, I keep on wondering if I'll get this job or not. God please just this time. 2 days and we'll get to know if I got myself a Second interview.

Continuing to scroll through Netflix with a bowl of kimchi noodles, I can't seem to stop worrying about it. I might get sick at this rate. After half an hour of scrolling, I found a murder documentary based on psychological thriller .... watching 3 episode and turning off the TV. I made my way to bed and went to sleep.

Tim (JK) Pov

Walking down the hallway I saw my secretary talking to an employee. Taking a sit in my cabin I decided to review the resumes Mr. Lee gave me as the interview is starting to take place soon. soon after I am informed that I have a meeting soon with my clients.

Turning the pages and reading about different candidates, I came across an interesting name ' Y/n James' before I could read more Mrs. Kim called my name, " Mr. Jeon? it's time for meeting." nodding in agreement I kept aside those resumes and left my seat to exit. reaching the conference room, I saw my partner Mr. choi.

" Director Timothy Jeon" he exclaimed. returning the gesture, we continued the meeting. Head of different department started to explain their part of profits and loss. I couldn't help but wonder about that 'Y/n' girl.

Time skip

Leaving early in the evening and walking towards my car, I saw a girl standing looking stressed. not giving her my sole attention, I turn on the engine and wait near entry for Mrs. Kim to take a seat.

Focusing on road as Mrs. Kim informs me about the interview. "Out of 20 interviewees only 5 will be selected for the second round." she said and continued by adding that " Mr. Lee selected three people on spot, only 2 place is remaining. You will be informed about the results as soon as possible".

After 20 mins or so, I drop her near residence. Speeding my car to get home, I realized that I have no grocery at home. Stopping near convenience store, I purchased some quick to make items and headed home.

After a relaxing hot shower, I decided to make instant noodles and scroll prime video. Finding a good action-adventure movie is a tiring task. Coming across a movie and peacefully eating noodles. As it ends, I make myself a cup of coffee since i have some pending work to do. heading to study, I started to work with a pain in my shoulder. God, its tiresome to be a director.

Spending good amount of time on my paperwork, I finally head to bed. Can't believe today was this hectic, I definitely cannot imagine tomorrow as new project awaits.
