" Jeon, we're ready" Jimin Hyung announced when I was having coffee. Its bitter taste still lingering on my tongue. I read the presentation again making sure for typos. I knew I was just mentally preparing myself for the meeting. 1:55 its almost time. I think I need to drink one more cup before making my way towards conference room.

Entering the room, I notice all of the employing standing in almost sync. Bowing to me and greetings were in the air. " Thank you all. You may sit." I said taking my seat. I nodded my head towards the IT guy to start the presentation.
He did as told and I started with introduction. " So, as you all know we have a new case and its quite complicated, but archive teams found somewhat similar case. Case no. 43337 Anna Hwang was a domestic violence and sexual abuse victim. This new case of Anita Sharma has experienced same from her in laws side. She's an 30 yearold Indian, married to Korean men in 2015. She's victim of violence and abuse like Anna Hwang although Anita is suicidal. she was found in serious condition by her sister-in-law who then took her to nearby hospital." I said in one go and looking around to see kitten and others taking notes.
I continued " Talking about the husband. He is a divorcee and First wife charged him with assault but due to lack of evidence, He was let go. Then he started drinking on a regular basis. He met Anita few months later and lied about being an alcoholic. They dated for time being and got married. Also according to reports, he started abusing her after 1 year or so." I informed them about husband, somewhere I feel bad for Anita.
" Now comes the Mental situation of Anita, she is suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress disorder (PTSD) and Depressive disorder. Anxiety disorder with new signs of Paranoid personality disorder (PPD)* . After interviewing her, we might get new information on her physical and mental health. " I say while flapping pages and finally closing the file and sighing afterwards.
" Mr. Jeon, I have a question. " a squeaky voice said and I looked at her. " Yes Ms. Chung." I replied. " Can you give us information about her physical health?" she says. " Well, we still don't know that information yet as our team and doctors are still examining her behavior. As for now we know she suffers severe injuries and burns." I concluded.
She just nodded her head. " Any more questions?" I asked in a little cold voice. And then I nodded to Jimin Hyung to conclude. " Thats all for today. You all will get report soon. " Hyung says.
" Dismissed" I said in cold yet stressful voice. All the people went out one by one, but my eyes fell on her. Kitten. She was sitting there like a statue not moving an inch. I started to call her name multiple times. "Y/n James?" slightly shouted. She flinched hard. Fuck.
" I'm sorry." she looked at me blankly making me wonder what's going in her little mind. " I should go, sorry I kept you waiting." she said and left the room. Her sudden change in behavior made me confused. I made my way towards my cabin with questions regarding my little kittens' behavior.
Y/n Pov
As jerky jungcock started explaining Anita Sharma's case. She was a victim of something that is so painful. It's something that I don't want to hear but its work and I can't possibly ignore.
His voice explaining the case started to fade away as I couldn't focus. My eyes getting blur, heart rate started to increase, my breath got hitched and my palm were getting sweatier and sweatier. I hear a faint voice in my head. Someone that made me want to run. I could hear him coming towards me. I want to hide. My hands trembling and legs shaking violently.
"Y/n my love, you can't hide from me. "
His voice, his laugh and his face made its way in my mind, clouding my thoughts. I could hear him. His creepy laugh and words echoed in my mind. NO! I don't want to think about him.
"Y/n James" I heard someone say. My body reacted in flinching. Jeon Jerk, he was calling my name with confusion all over his beautiful features. I came to my sense and apologized to him for making him wait. I ran outside to the restroom as fast as I could. Splashed water on my face multiple times. It's not real, Y/N. I looked in the mirror, telling myself that's it's not real. I hear him again in my head.
