The next day rolled around and i was staying in Louis's. I hadn't slept at all or moved. As soon as i got to his house i went to my temporary room and stayed there. I cried for most of the night, wondering how he found me and why did he want to find me. A million more questions ran through my head none of which i knew the answer too. I figured Gabe stayed in the police station overnight and maybe got some medical attention. And i knew that he wasn't going to leave town until he found me again. Someone started to knock on my door which caused me to jump a bit.

"It's Lou, you need anything?" He called from the other side of my door.

I got up and walked toward it, unlocking it before opening it.

"Do you need anything?" He asked with a sad expression.

I shook my head. "Thanks for um, letting me stay."

"Of course." He nodded.

"Any word on him?" I asked, sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Not yet, the police officer said she would let me know." He sighed.

I nodded but inside i just wanted to break down.

"If you don't mind me asking, why did he come looking for you?" He asked, leaning on the doorframe.

"We were in a relationship and he turned out to be a dick, he'd hit me and.." I trailed off. "Anyway i left after a year. He was at work and i left without a trace. Didn't think he'd find me again."

"Jesus christ." He muttered. "We're not gonna let him hurt you again."

"He's gonna find me eventually Louis." I sighed.

"And we'll deal with him if he does." He said.

"No, we won't. I think the best way is just for me to move again." I said.

"What? Move where?" He asked.

"Somewhere far from here." I said.

"Clem, you can stay here as long as you need you don't have to do all that moving stuff." He said.

"I think it'd be better for everyone." I said.

I could see Louis was frowning out of my peripheral vision. He seemed to be upset when i mentioned moving. An akward silence set in the room before i broke it.

"Im sorry we never got to go on the camping trip. I know you were excited." I said, with a small smile.

He nodded slightly before backing away and starting to close my door before he opened it again.

"Um here, it's not much but it might help you relax." He said while reaching into his pocket and pulling out a small bag of weed, maybe a 25 bag.

He left it on the table beside my door before shutting my door closed and i heard his footsteps depart. I stared at it for a moment before getting up and opening my door, looking down the hall for Louis.

"Louis," I called out, "C'mon we'll cheer ourselves up and smoke."

I saw Louis chuckle a bit before he came back toward my bedroom. We both lay down on my bed and talked while i was rolling the joint.

"Soph and Vi are coming over soon, they want to know how you're doing." He said.

"I'm sure they won't be too happy when they see me rolling a joint." I said.

"And me smoking it with you." He chuckled.

"This could be our last one together, they'll probably understand." I shrugged.

"I might only have known you for a few months now but you seriously are a cool person." He smiled.

"You're gonna make me cry stop." I chuckled.
