Third person:
"We are worker drones, Autonomous robots helping humans mine exoplanets for our interstellar parent company, JCJenson IN SPAAAAACCCEE!!!! Yeah, we were mistreated in the name of Windex. But it's not like we revolted and killed all humans or anything, mostly because they handled that just fine all by themselves." someone, or drone, said, as the screen showed worker drones moving heavy boxes in a factory. Then the video showed a power plant losing control of the core and exploding, causing all the humans to die and freeze the planet. Snow falls down from the sky, a single snowflake falls down and lands on a skeleton. A worker drone pops up and pushes the skeleton down, causing it to shatter as another drone watches.
"With biological life wiped from the planet, we found it pretty easy to pick up where they left off. We finally had a future, all to ourselves." The drone. The screen shows the drones in the place of humans. A male and a female drone hold a baby drone, on the baby a yellow triangle says 'Untrained Neural Network'. The scene changes to show Saturn and another planet, when a glimmer of light. A landing pod crashes into the city. "Unfortunately, our parent company didn't exactly love the concept of runaway AI..." The drone said. A group of worker drones gather around the crash site, curious to see what it is. The door opened and three yellow X's were clear to see. The Disassembly Drones begin to emerge from the pod. One of them throws the head of a dead drone, laughs, and destroys the city with other drones.
Ash's Pov:
"But what have our parents done for the past forever while those things build a spire of corpses?! Hide under the ice behind three stupid doors?! It's like we're waiting for an inciting incident! Anyway, that's why my project is this sick-as-hell Railgun!" My sister Uzi smirked, showing off her gun that I told her to leave at home. Everyone on our class panics besides me
Before I continue, let me introduce myself. My name is Ash Doorman, the little sister to Uzi. And one major fact about me is that I'm human, a mutated human, but a human, nonetheless. Mom found me when I was just an embryo and not knowing my gender, she named me Ash. I wear a mask 90% of the time as I have really sharp teeth. I have half of my hair dyed a magenta color. I'm the only human on the planet. Now back to my sister's failure of a presentation. "Oh, so not the vibe" a guy named Riley said, scared because of the gun. Easy, morons. It doesn't work... yet! It doesn't work yet. Who said it doesn't work, maybe it does!" Uzi flicks the switch and laughs evilly. "Uzi, the homework was a word problem about buying watermelons." The teacher states rolling his eyes at Uzi. "Oh, and this magnetically amplified photon converger doesn't count?" Uzi questioned. "...No. Plus, repressed emotional baggage was only worth two points on the rubric. And is it supposed to be that color?" The teacher questioned Uzi. I see that Uzi's gun goes from green to red. "Oh boy." I say as the gun explodes.
I'm sitting with Uzi in the nurse's office, I'm unhurt but I can't say the same for Uzi. The gun sat beside her, and she held an ice pack against her head. "I told you to leave that gun at home, it still needs work." I reprimanded Uzi, as I leaned against the wall. We both hear someone talking. "Ew, it didn't kill her! Oh my god, it's so bad!" Lizzy remarked to her friend Doll. "Om my god, that was so bad." She boasted to Doll as they left. Uzi groaned as they left, giggling at my sister's expense. "Classic toxic masculinity, Chad! That's never gonna end up problematic... Oh wow, Uzi? I heard you, uh-" Thad stammered as he walked into the office. "I'm an angsty teen, Thad. Bite me! Also, how do you know my name? People willingly talk to you." Uzi snapped at Thad, throwing the ice pack away. "Hey Thad" I say.
"Well, I'd say everyone knows Khan's daughters, but, uh... Then you might blow the other half of your face off." Thad chuckled, motioning to posters of dad. "Crippling daddy issues, hilarious... What are you in for? Testosterone too hard?" Uzi retorted. "That can happen? Awesome. Hey, those bandages look pretty badass." Thad said. "Oh... Uh, ew. Gross, I hate that you said that." Uzi said, embarrassed. "So, what's the, uh..." Thad nervously pointed at the gun. Uzi points the gun at him. "Sick-as-hell railgun?! Sci-Fi nonsense, that super works! I'm sneaking to the Murder Drone lair tonight to get the last spare part I need to save the world with it and earn my dad's respect and stuff, but mostly the world part." Uzi rambuled. '"Oh, but doesn't your dad make awesome doors, so we don't have to, uh... Do that scary sounding emotionally repressed stuff you just said?" Thad questioned. Uzi presides to point the gun into his cheek. "NO MORE FEEDBACK ON MY REPRESSION TODAY!!" Uzi shouted. "Oh! I'm sorry! I didn't think..." Thad hesitated. "Bit me!" Uzi yelled leaving. I get up to follow her. Uzi turns back. "I'm not mad at you by the way, just generally hormonal!" Uzi shouted at Thad before coming back and we continued to head home. "You need to calm down a little sis." I say to her as we make our way into our shared room. I take off my mask and breathe a sigh to finally have it off. I don't have to wear it but when Uzi and I were kids, the other keeped making fun of my teeth. "Bit me." She replied. I just laughed and ate some dehydrated food. Soon I went to bed, trying to get some sleep before Uzi dragged me to the corpse spire.
