The police and local hunters spent over 2 weeks hunting down the pigs. Over a 3 county area, they had been responsible for the death of 4 humans, 14 dogs, and all types of livestock.
Randy helped Jenna feed and water her new chicks. In spite of her unconventional methods, everyone agreed she was an excellent babysitter and she didn't get into too much trouble for not staying put. Randy became something of a local hero too. No one teased him anymore, and he actually had a few friends. The small town was once again a quiet, safe place to live.
Some domestic animals have a feral side to them that never gets bred out. Living in the wild, survival of the fittest brings this out even more. These were the pigs that escaped yet again. Wilder, stronger and angrier than the others. Survivors. And they're hungry...
