[ POV : ABERARDUS ]
I've been driving for about 15 minutes. Melonie was sitting in the back seat of my car, since she was too young to sit in the front. "So dad?" Melonie started a conversation, after being silent for most of the car ride. "Yes, Melon?" I responded. "Do you really think there's monsters in the forest? Those are all fake, right?" I chuckled at this question. "Look sweetie, monsters don't exist. They're usually just myths..legends, and stuff like that. Monsters aren't real!" I looked back at her, from the top mirror. I could see she was smiling, after I gave her some reassurance. "So daddy, what do you think we'll find?" I pondered for a moment. "Probably some animals..stuff that usually lives in a forest, y'know? What did you learn in school about animals?" I asked Melonie. After asking her about that, she rambled a bunch about animals, and stuff about environments that she learned in school. About 5 minutes later, we finally made it to the forest. "Alright kiddo, I'll need you to stay in the car for now, okay?" I looked at her, and she nodded. I hopped out of the car, and locked the doors behind me. I made sure to keep the car on, because I didn't want her to overheat in the car in any way. I walked over to the back of the trunk, and threw my 'knight' attire over the outfit I was already wearing. I grabbed my sword too, and put it in the sheath. After getting everything ready, I lastly grabbed a small flashlight from the trunk, and slammed it shut. I stretched a bit, before entering the forest. I waved goodbye to Melonie.Some time passed, as I was walking through the forest. It felt like hours. Days. Honestly, maybe the night was messing with my head. Look, if I'm being honest, I've never had any of these problems before. God..my sense of time has been fucked up. Continuously walking through the pine trees, getting stabbed with the needles of the pine trees every 2 seconds was not the best. If only I had my helmet. Well, I don't have much to complain about I guess. I didn't find anything, so there's nothing wrong with the forest. I did take Phillips advice earlier. I didn't bring her into the forest. I started walking back to the car. After realizing I was walking for almost 10 minutes, I was in this forest much deeper than I thought.

Rustle..rustle..rustle.."Huh? Who's there?"
...
...
..."Show yourself!" I unsheathed my sword, pointing it in front of me, looking around.
...
[ "Shhh.." ]
"What?! Who?!-"
[ "It was so easy to lure people here..wasnt it!?"]
{"Mhm."}
{"Would you like to do the honors?"}
["Yes, my lord."]What was going on!? Lord?! Honors!?
"Hey! Whomever is saying this kind of stuff will be immediately charged!"
{ "Behind.."}
I quickly looked behind me, to see nobody, but just then, I felt something..or someone touch my sword.
"Eh!? What are you!?-"SLASH!
[ END. ]
[ Sorry this was short..I was writing this when I was sick, ahaha ]
