Chapter 5

December 20th 2018

Margot pov.
We were able to get a day out with just the girls. Y/n was very excited to spend some time with us. We decided to do some shopping for some last minute stuff, then do some ice skating, then maybe go get our nails done, then get hot chocolate and just hang out. The boys are also shopping but they are getting every thing they need because they, of course, waited till the very last minute to do it. We went to the nearest mall. We were here the day before but getting y/n presents since we know she was coming with us today. As we're walking through the big mall and trying to find what we needed. Y/n pipes up and says

"Can we go in here quickly? I still need to get my younger siblings something." She says nervously. It seems like she's still a bit nervous at the idea that she has to family's now and is a bit hesitant to bring the other side up in front of the other side. Maybe I'll talk to her once we get alone time. We agreed to go into the build-a-bear workshop part of the mall and she picked out a frog stuff animal and a bunny. She also got them little outfits. One had a karate outfit and the other one was a ballet outfit which was adorable. I offered to pay for it even though she could probably pay for but I don't want her to worry about it.

We eventually finish shopping and we went to the middle of the mall where a huge ice rack was and we went to the front of it and rented our skates. Once we were on the ice we were all trying to not fall and y/n was very giggly at this moment because she was the best one at this. As time went on we all got the hang of it. My mom and Anya were a bit a head and me and y/n were behind. She was clinging to my hand. This could be the time I could talk to her.

"Hey, you know you don't have to get nervous about your other siblings you know?" I said to her.

"Ok. Sorry " she said

"Hey it's ok. There's nothing bad about our situation. Things happen in life that we weren't prepared for." Right then I fell to my knees. She giggled

"Like that?" She asked.

I shook my head at her with a small smile. At least she's getting mods use to us. When our time is up one the rink. We decided to veto the nails because the wait was crazy long so maybe some other time. We headed to a little cafe and we all ordered some hot chocolate. We sat down at a table to have a conversation.

"So honey how's work and school going?" Mom asked towards y/n

"It's going pretty good. I'm off work till January 13 because of Christmas and New year. But I also took a a couple days off since my birthday is really close to." She rambled

"And how's school going? Going through it like a breeze?" Anya asked and I saw the way Anya and my mom looked at. We were all falling in love with this little girl so much.

"Oh yea! I'm almost done I only have a couple assignments and if I finish by the 27th I'll be starting 10th grade in January."she said (let's pretend this is how it works.)

"Dang kid. You are really smart aren't you?" I asked. She giggled.

"So are you really excited for Christmas?" I asked her

"Yea really excited. What about you guys?" She asked.

"Oh I'm very excited this year." Mom said.

"Me too. We don't get crazy snow like this so I will definitely be hitting Cameron with a snow ball later." Anya said with an evil laugh.

"Not inside the house at least." Mom said slightly defected knowing there was no way she can stop Anya from doing it. We then went to drop y/n off at her dads house and we went home. I really don't want to leave this kid after her birthday. I really hope we can see her a lot. I also want to show her Australia and California since I'm there all the time. Maybe I'll need to bring her to set one day.

Christmas Eve

Margot's pov

I'm so excited. It's Christmas Eve and this is the first time we're celebrating Christmas together. Y/n gets to come over and sleep over since with her other side of her family they open presents after dinner. This is also the first Christmas that the older siblings get together such a long time. Its about 4:30 and I'm still wrapping presents. I might have gone overboard with the presents but who cares! I'm to excited. Tom starts to open the door but I can't have him in here yet.

"Nope, no not yet!" I yelled at him before he could open the door even an inch.

"Margot it's been more then half an hour. Please can I come in?" He asked

"No some of your presents are still aren't wrap." I told him.

"Fine, but your mom said that y/n should be here soon, no later then 5." He told me as he left.

I got even more excited. We went out bit to long ago to get her some Christmas pj, hot chocolate, and some other sugar candies. We're going to watch Polar Express, A Christmas Carol, and Elf. We're also making a pillow fort. Yes, four adult siblings are going to make a great pillow fort with their youngest sibling while their partners sleep in their childhood bedrooms. She couldn't be more excited. I finally finished wrapping all the presents about 20 minutes later and and walk downstairs to see a shit ton of blankets and pillows. I look at my brothers with a questioning look.

"What? It's her first Christmas with us we have to make it memorable." Cameron said. Lachlan nodding behind him with a serious look.

"They've taken every blanket in the house only leave one for the ones who are sleeping upstairs." Anya said.

"Oh god she well be very excited."I replied.

We waited around and we then hear a knock on the door. I immediately started running to the door while racing with my siblings to open the door for her. Once I was able to open the handle just enough to see her with the biggest smile and her dad standing behind her. Once we all calm down enough we finally talked.

"Hey" Lachlan said.

"Hi" she replied back she hugged all of us. She has her backpack with her and her dad is holding a back of presents. He sets it down by the door for her to deal with later.

" ok I'll be back to pick her up tomorrow around 3:30 if that's all good?" He said. We all nodded and she said goodbye. Lachlan took her backpack off of her and went to put it in the living room while we were right behind him. She saw all the blankets and had a smile that was close to laugh cause it was kinda ridiculous of how many blankets it was. We decided to build the tent know while mom finish cooking dinner.
It was pretty big tent it took over the whole living room. We then heard our mom call us to dinner. Once Tom came down and saw the tent he laugh.

"Had fun?" He asked I nodded. There was that buzz of excited. We quickly had dinner and made our hot chocolate and got ready for the Christmas movies. Elf was the last movie and she fell asleep half way through it. She was all cuddled up with me with a small pig stuff animal. I had a stuff animal bunny not to far away from me. I can't wait till tomorrow.
