– Thursday –

Jaune walks into the clearing with his friends to see Ozpin waiting there sipping on a thermos filled with his favorite coffee and a small camping set out for them to use for snacks and drinks between gate training.

Jaune waved at the old Wizard while everyone else was confused to see their Headmaster there waiting for them.

They had been training in the gym and headed off to their usual spot without a worry in their minds. But they were now worried that something had come up for Ozpin to come find them. Ozpin saw their confused expressions and asked his own question, "Ah. Mr. Arc, did you forget to tell your friends that you invited me to your get together with them? After all it did seem rather sudden and not pre planned when you called me last night."

Soon all his guild mates were staring at Jaune for answers with their looks feeling like drills digging into his head. Jaune sweats under the attention and decides to be honest. "I invited Professor Ozpin for his aid in battle techniques, knowledge, and his abilities as a fellow Monarch to push us further in our training. After all if we just get used to fighting Grimm how will we even learn new things besides through our own innovation? I read in some martial arts books that it is difficult to improve on your own without a teacher to help guide you. So I figured not only would Ozpin teach us and guide us more efficiently but he would be able to grow a bit too and dust off some cobwebs on his own skills as well."

Nods are slowly spreading among their group as Ozpin had his eyes widen slightly in shock and intrigue that Jaune thought of his own growth as well given how he was used to simply training his slowly recovering powers every reincarnation. It never occurred to him to train alongside his fellow Monarch as he thought that the Monarch of Light was busy training and improving his own vessel to the point where he thought he would just get in the way or slow them down. But this new thought and angle of their possible training methods intrigued Ozpin to no end.

Ozpin speaks up, "Interesting notion Mr. Arc. I would gladly train alongside you all, as even if I don't gain anything substantial from training alongside you all. It would be beneficial to myself to make sure I have reviewed the basics of my training and even some intermediate and advanced movements. After all being a Headmaster leaves very little time for me to train myself outside of my 1 hour lunch break."

Everyone nods or shrugs in agreement until Weiss perks up at that last tidbit of information, "Wait! If you have very little time to train yourself as is. How did you get the time in your schedule to come here and train with us in the first place?!"

The group, including Jaune, all widen their eyes and stare hard at their Headmaster as they all wonder the same thing.

Ozpin simply sips his coffee first before he smirks and says, "Well... Let's just say I am glad I hired such a capable woman like Glynda. I shudder to think about what she is putting the council through right now."

Coco decides to ask the question on all of their minds based on that little tidbit, "Hold on... You had a council meeting today... you pawned it off on Ms. Goodwitch, with almost no notice... And you sicked her on them instead of yourself?"

Ozpin nods and says, "In that sense... Yes, yes I did Ms. Adel."

Ragora laughs as she says, "Oh those poor old fools!"

– Council Meeting chambers –

The council were meeting up and were excited to see what they could get away with next in their meeting to make sure Vale was safe and their pockets were a little fuller.

"Hehe. I know with all of us together we will out vote Ozpin with these new renovation plans we have to enrich our districts and make them safer! And we can make sure that our districts alone get the attention while those lesser income people can continue to fend for themselves! After all as the leaders of Vale we need to protect ourselves and our families first!" Says one councilman.
