A light after the storm

As AI watch the passing trees from the car window, she starts to wonder off into her imagination.

"We're here sweetheart!", Matilda shouted.

AI snapped back into reality to found out that she's at a huge hotel with over grown plants surrounding it, it was enchanting for Ai that she thought for a second if she was still daydreaming.

Henry stopped the car and got out to take in the view with his wife Matilda. AI on the other hand was just taking a few pictures of the hotel. She was also curious to why there's only one car parked at the hotel besides her father's car.

Henry, Matilda and Ai when inside the hotel to check-in. Inside the hotel would make you think that you were back into history. The staffs welcomed them as if they were royalty. Henry held his wife's arms to walk to the counter with him as if to remind them of a pleasant memory.

Matilda giggles happily as she follows his lead.

Ai on the other hand was complementing the staffs of their performance which made the staffs smiled at each other happily knowing their hard work.

"Hey bud we got our keys, let's go grab out bags and head to our room", said Henry

Ai nodded and went back to the car to grab her bags alongside with her parents.

From a distance she saw something ran away across from her father's car. She didn't question it much so she continued on to grabbing her stuff and went straight to her room.

Ai instantly layed down on the bed and let out a sigh of a relief. An eleven hour trip and all she could think of is text her friends since they were Ai's family in her eyes.

"Dang it no service again. Ughhh I should've known. Oh well", said Ai.

While she was rolling around on the bed saddened, Henry sat next to her and started to pat her on the back.

"It's alright kiddo, hey at least you can enjoy the view from here why not you try relaxing for a while instead of always connecting to the internet", said Henry

Matilda was rummaging through her bags as though she was searching for something that's precious to her but she doesn't seem to find it so she asked Henry to go and look for it with her back in the car.

"Ai sweetie mom and dad will be back in a sec okay?", said Matilda after bolting out of the room with Henry.

Ai wasn't fazed cause this isn't the first time something like this has occurred. Her eyes was fixated on the balcony which her father told her to look outside and do sight seeing for a while. Ai with a defeated look took his advice and slide open the balcony door.

The cold gentle wind blowing through Ai set her mind at ease. Maybe it isn't too bad after all. Suddenly a note flew down from her balcony.

"That's odd, what kind of person would just throw this?", questioned Ai.

She picked up the letter and before she could even read it she heard her mother screamed. Ai quickly put the letter in the drawer and rushed out to see what's wrong.
