Lloyd
The sound of the screaming man was music to my ears. He was tougher than he looked but I know I can break him down eventually. More fun for me but less fun for him.
Right as I was getting to the good stuff a buzzing phone broke my concentration. These fucking goons and their inept to follow the rules.
"Phones on silent when I'm working, please." I scold the room.
"It's yours sir.."
"Who is it?" I ask, ready to get on with the show.
"The chief."
Hanging my head, I take a moment to gather my composure. Guess I won't be able to finish off this little piggy myself. I hand the jumper cables to the goon on my left. "Make him squeal."
Taking the phone I head out the door towards the back office. "What can I do for you?" I say as I walk in the office and shut the door.
" I got an urgent locate and destroy." Denny says getting straight to the point. Rubbing my thumb and finger along my mustache I ask for more details. "Who's the target?"
"Sierra Six."
Well this is going to be interesting. I've heard about Six before. He's a ghost and one of Fitzroy's best lap dogs. This is going to be fun. Which is exactly what I tell Denny.
"Could be fun, man's got enough street cred."
"I need to you to obtain the drive and eliminate any obstacles."
I chuckle, "I'm going to need an open checkbook on this one." I might as well make good money if I have to use all my resources to locate this jackass.
Denny sighs but agrees. "And one more thing." He adds. "I'm sending Suzanne to assist."
I roll my eyes. "I'd rather get punched in the dick."
"I would gladly punch you the dick, Lloyd." Suzanne's annoying voice comes through. Just hearing her voice makes my ears bleed. I could never stand the bitch even during our years at Harvard. She walked around like she had a stick up her ass. Maybe if she had something other than a stick up her ass then she wouldn't be so uptight but I sure as shit wasn't going to volunteer for that. I'd rather saw off my own dick.
"Send me everything you've got on Six." I reply and then I hang up not wanting to risk hearing more of Suzanne's nails on the chalkboard voice.
Cracking my neck I start digging up information on Six. Fitzroy did everything in his power to erase who Six was before he recruited him but I'm better. Six has a father-son relationship with Fitzroy. I could use anyone close to Fitz to lure Six out. But I wanted something more personal.
Which is why after a few hours I find myself staring at a family picture of Courtland Gentry, a small boy, and a small girl, who couldn't be older than 4 or 5 in the picture. His family. From what I gathered, Six has two siblings. His mom died from cancer and he murdered his dad. Six was tried as an adult and sentenced to life in prison before he mysteriously disappeared from all databases.
He often visits Boston based off of CCTV footage I found. He frequents a coffee shop every day he's in Boston. I make a quick note of the coffee shop name and then continue digging. Unfortunately, there is no information on the two younger ones in the picture. But something tells me the reason for Six's frequent visits to Boston has to do with his siblings. But which one if not both? Finding out who they are and where they are could be the key to getting the drive.
Leaning back in my chair I ponder what my next move should be. My gaze is locked on the young girl in the picture. My gut tells me she's the one who Six is visiting. I pulled up the CCTV footage from inside the coffee shop. It's hard to spot Six unless you are actively looking for him. I spot him near the back wall. The coffee shop isn't huge but because of how many people are in there he's able to blend in. He walks toward the front door and bumps into a customer. I watch him pause for a brief moment before he's out the door.
That's interesting. Zooming in on the woman's face, I cross reference to any other time Six was spotted in the cafe. She's there every time he is. Using an age enhancer, I age the young girl in the photo with Six and compare it to the woman in the coffee shop. And man do I love what I find.
Side by side the two photos are uncanny. She is the sister of Courtland Gentry. Based on the footage she must not know who he is. Which makes sense as I find more information on the woman.
Adopted at age six, her parents moved them just outside of Boston, she attended Stanford for her bachelor's degree and Stanford Medical school. She's finishing her last year of residency at Boston Memorial Hospital. She's engaged to a prick named Jake. And they live in a townhouse located near the downtown area.
Now that I have all that information I'll need to devise a plan. Six is a ghost. He can move around without being easily spotted. If he's on the run chances are he won't risk entering the states again. Not even for his sister.
Looks like I'll need to target Fitzroy first in order to get his attention.
Just as I am about to shut down for the night my gaze flicks back to the family picture. This time though I'm not staring at the girl. It's the boy who caught my attention. Something about him seems vaguely familiar. Enhancing his age in the program I almost fall out of my seat when I'm looking at the older version of the boy.
Picking up my phone I dial the number. It rings once before it's answered.
"Yeah?" The voice is groggy. They must have been asleep.
"Well good morning, Pumpkin. I'm going to need you to come in ASAP."
"Be there in 20."
I tsk. "Make it 10." Then I click off.
Ten minutes later my right hand man walks in. It was evident he was asleep when I called.
"What can I do for you, boss?" He asks.
I stand from my desk, picking up the pictures I printed. "Well, the first thing you can do is explain to me why you changed your name from Matt Gentry to Ryan Evans." I hand him the pictures, "then I want your help taking down your brother." I smirk at his shocked expression.
Looks like a family reunion is in order.
