𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐍𝐓 think it was possible for things to get worse. She was dead wrong. This was worse.Belly rushed next to Flora's side immediately. She wanted to say something to her but wasn't sure what to say.
"Jesus, Renny." Logan breathed, pulling her in. Flora shook her head and left Logan and Belly as she walked upstairs.
Her room was completely empty. Everything her mother had placed was gone.
Jeremiah stood in his own empty room with tears in his eyes. He didn't notice his sister walk into the room and guide him downstairs. He was too shocked.
"What the fuck, Julia." Flora spoke when she sees her Aunt walk into the kitchen.
"I'm sorry this must be such a shock. I spoke to your father this morning and we decided it'd be best not to drag this out any longer than necessary." Julia spoke.
"I don't give a shit what the two of you decided on. You had no right to touch anything in this house. Those were her things." Conrad said, his voice raising with each word. Steven stepped up, telling him to breathe but Conrad dismissed it.
"Everything is in storage. I made sure that everyone was very careful with every single item. I'm just doing what I have to do to sell this house." Julia sighed.
"Bullshit! You could've said something. You could've warned us!" Flora scoffed.
"All you want to do is fight our mom constantly!" Conrad added.
"Okay, enough! You're not the only one that's hurting here." Julia said.
" I'm not the one you should be angry with! Your mother could've warned you that this was gonna happen! She just wanted to make me the bag guy as usual." Julia said, pin pointing the blame on Susannah.
"I am so sorry that she was too busy dying to make your life a little easier." Flora spat with bitter sarcasm and anger.
"I think I'd know that she was too busy fucking dying and being in pain to make you look better. I was there Julia. I was there while she died. And you weren't there once." Flora said.
"You know it sucks that our grandfather loved her more than you but I'm not surprised." Conrad said.
The two sibling's probably could've chosen their words a little better but they weren't wrong and the truth hurts. The truth hurts. And if anyone knew that, Flora knew. The truth hurts. All of it hurts.
Skye, the Fishers cousin, couldn't defend what Conrad said about their grandfather, but they also couldn't defend their mother selling a house with so much meaning.
