𝐅𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 Fisher was laying by the pool, soaking up the sun, eyes closed, book laying on her chest, and her hand intertwined with Belly's. The salty fresh air of the ocean swirled around, and the fresh air felt as though it was clearing Flory's mind, a feeling she hadn't felt in a long time."I'm glad you're back." Belly said, even before Flory opened her eyes, she could hear the smile in Belly's voice.
"I was only gone for a bit to tour colleges." Flory chuckled.
"Yeah, I know. I just like spending as much time with you as possible." Belly smiled. Flora grinned and sat up, climbing over to Belly's chaise. Belly scooted over and nestled herself into Flora's arms happily.
"God, we get it, you two are into each other." Jeremiah teased, glancing down at the couple.
"Go away, you're blocking the sun." Flora laughed. Her twin brother chuckled and reminded his sister that their mother was waiting for her in the living room.
"Be right back, mom's been wanting to discuss a summer schedule to see when I'm free to tour some colleges." said Flora.
"Ugh, I was just getting comfy." Belly said jokingly sighing. Flora smiled and planted a light kiss onto the soft lips of Belly's.
"I'll be right back, Bells." She said before standing up and waltzing into the house.
"You guys are disgusting." Jeremiah teased, earning a shove from his twin sister.
Susannah Fisher sat in the living room, her shoulder length blonde hair falling wispily over her shoulders and the sunlight illuminating the room. Flora smiled and took a seat next to her mother who wore a sundress that Flory had picked out just for her.
"Don't listen to Jere, you two are perfect for each other." Susannah smiled at her daughter. Flora smiled, feeling the warmth of pure happiness. "Are you happy, honey?" Susannah asked her daughter.
"Yeah. I am." Flora smiled. "Everything is so perfect. Honestly, it's the happiest summer I've had in ages." Susannah's face was washed over with a look of sentiment, Nostolgia, and yearning. "What is it, mom?" Flora asked. Susannah said nothing but instead pulled her daughter into a hug.
"You're my special, beautiful girl, you know that?" Susannah asked, a slight shake in her voice.
"Mom-" Flora began.
