When you thought of a date with Bakugo, you certainly weren't expecting this.

"Take care of the car, one scratch and I'll kill you" He lightly threatens the valet while you walk beside him.

"Name?" An older gentleman dressed in a black tux rolling a pen through his fingers asks the short tempered man.

"Katsuki Bakugo" The man's eyes quickly scan through the reservation names

"Ah yes Mr Bakugo, right this way" He smiles ushering both of you through the fine dining restaurant and to the elevator.

Once the elevator pings open, there was a single table in the middle of the room with chandeliers dangling from the high ceilings and long windows showcasing the cityscape — this was definitely out of your comfort zone.

After being seated and letting Bakugo order for you, it was finally just you and him.

"Katsuki don't you think this is too much? How can you even afford this??" Whispering quietly across the table although with the amount of space around you, your voice seemed to echo and bounce of the walls.

"Believe me princess, money is no issue" he shrugs taking a sip from the wine glass, "plus we have the best view of the city but I have the best view sitting opposite me"

Automatically you eye roll hearing his cheesy and slightly cringe comments. Slowly turning away from him to look outside the window once more, he was right, "it is beautiful... but..."

"Denki we shouldn't be up here"

Kaminari hushes you as he pulls out a bobby pin from his hair and begins to unlock the padlock on the roof top door.

"and we're in" he smiles mischievously

He grabs your hand to pull you through the doors to showcase the view from the school rooftop. The buildings and people looking like small figurines in the distance but you couldn't help but to stare in awe.

"It's so beautiful!!" Your eyes sparkling

"It really is.." Kaminari looks at the girl in front of him, "so beautiful.." the words slip from his mouth admiring the view of her smiling.

(author note: I finally figured out the chapter I accidentally deleted was this but since the story seems to still flow I'll just add it back as a memory)

"I've seen better" you finish your sentence as you hear Bakugo scoff

"What do you mean better? This is the best view of the city!" It was clear Bakugo was getting irritated over something so small which gave you a reality check — what am I doing? instead of focusing on forgetting Denki, I've been comparing him with Katsuki. He's paid for this private room in the restaurant with the best view of the city and this is how I repay him.

"You're right.. I'm sorry Katsuki" looking at him apologetically which somehow made Bakugo's stern face soften a little.

"D-Don't worry about it" he rubs the back of his neck and turns away with a slight blush brush on his cheeks. A small chuckle escapes seeing a newer and shy side to the angry Pomeranian, "what are you laughing at!?"

"Nothing" letting out the last of your giggles, "I just didn't expect you to be this cute when someone apologises"

"Yeah, well.. you're not just anyone" he huffs just as the waiter arrives with the tray full of food.

The food to your surprise was good, I mean you'd expect it'd be good considering how expensive the menu and place looked. After the meal Katsuki begins driving through the city.

"Just wait here" he turns off the engine and opens the trunk of his car, rustling for a few minutes before opening the door for you.

The moment you step outside, the familiarity of the area comes into view. It was the same spot Kaminari took you too after visiting your uncle. You couldn't help but feel your hear sink slightly.

Bakugo ushers you to the open trunk which had a blanket laid out, small fairy lights as a light source along with a bottle of wine and glasses. Your eyes widen at the sight — 'he really put a lot of effort into this' you thought to yourself. You sit down and look around the trunk, appreciating the small gesture.

"More wine?" He asks as you nod smiling at him. He begins to pour the wine into the glass before handing it over to you to which you thank him.

After taking a few sips while appreciating the view, you realise that you were the only one drinking.

Slowly you turn to Bakugo who was already staring at you, "Aren't you going to drink?" You ask smiling at him after catching him red handed, checking you out.

"I've drank enough at the restaurant, I still need to drive and make sure we get home safe princess" he let out a mischievous smile before looking at the view.

Maybe it was the words he said or the way the fairy lights reflects off him but he looked really charming.

"Katsuki" you call out his name as he turns back, "thank you for tonight, this is probably my favourite part of our date" he couldn't help but let out a smile of relief which warmed your heart.

The drive home was more lively than the drive to the restaurant or the overlooking view, somehow you felt less awkward, sad and more relaxed being with him.

The lights of the dorm was off as both of you begin walking back. He reaches to open the door but you stop him.

"Katsuki" he turns once more to look at you, "thank you for tonight, I mean it"

He lets go of the door handle and takes both of your cold hands in his warm palms stroking the outside with his thumbs. He lets go with his right hand to place it upon your cheek to move your eyes up as your gazes meet. Only then you realised that you haven't fully looked at him this whole time, the way his crimson eyes would contrast against the moonlight like a vampire. The last time you stared deeply in his eyes like this was the first time you trained together, the day you could've sworn you would've kissed if you didn't pull away.

"You don't need to thank me, idiot" he smiles once more as his eyes move down to your lips much like you.

Your heart begins beating faster at the thought of kissing him — should I? What harm would it be?

He begins leaning in closer to you as you feel his warm breath brushing your face. Slowly you close your eyes giving him the permission to kiss you.

Suddenly the door busts open breaking the contact between the two of you.

"OH! You guys are back!" The guy exclaimed as your eyes widen and there stood...
