"Our main goal right now is to help the soldiers until the tear opens." Turning to my friends they nodded as we descended to the ground helping the soldiers. "Dear you're dressed too lightly aren't you cold?" Taking the hand of an elderly woman I smiled softly while placing my other hand on her back guiding her into the bunker. "Thank you Grandma I'll remember to dress appropriately next time." Leading her to a cot and helping her sit down Lena ran into the underground bunker giving me a firm nod. Running up the stairs we spotted the tear in the sky being pried open from the inside. Nervously looking around the streets were eerily quiet not even a mouse dared to move. "We were instructed to help you, Ma'am!" Turning around I froze seeing the three men from earlier holding enhanced guns Mintz made. Looking all around me the soldiers who previously helped the citizens into the bunkers stood around armed with the magic guns. "Stay on the ground and out of sight. Did Mintz tell you how the guns functioned?" Seeing them nod firmly and grip the guns tightly vibrant blue lines spread across the metal stemming from the small core in the middle of the guns. Nodding confidently at the men they dispersed throughout the part of the city taking various hiding positions. "Let's get this party started shall we?" Smirking Lena snapped her fingers together and speakers filled the area playing Topline by Stray Kids. Shaking my head softly with a small smile a loud boom filled the air and several large obsidian animal creatures stepped out shaking the ground with every step. Cracking my neck time seemed to freeze as both parties examined the other. "You should give up hope for your world humans." I'm assuming the leader spoke raising a large clawed hand and pointing at us as his lion ears twitched. "I guess you're just going to have to make us surrender." Growling out a reply he sneered running his hand over his head before shooting out at me. Barely dodging his attic I jumped to the side only to feel his cold hand wrap around my left ankle flinging me through the air. With a harsh grunt, I managed to control my surroundings and flipped several times until I was able to slide across the ground on my feet in a low crouch. From the corner of my eye, I saw the three members behind several military-issued vehicles watching me intensely. Narrowing my eyes at the lion Nullifier I slowly stood to my feet rolling my shoulders arrogantly antagonizing the simple-minded creature. As if his mentality snapped he charged at me while shrinking to the size of my mates. Bracing myself our hands connected and he pushed me back causing me to let out a low growl and stand my ground. Planting my feet firmly on the ground the concrete shattered under our force in a circle around us. "You're just a weak little human!" He growled baring his teeth at me and furiously trying to bite me as if he were a rabid animal. "Now would be a good time for some help you three!" I yelled feeling my arms and legs burn under the force as gunshots began to ring in my ears. The poor lion that didn't stand a chance dropped to his knees letting out painful grunts as bullets pierced his crack-filled obsidian body. Hooking my arms around his neck I swung my body around his using the force to snap his head clean off his body. Giving the three men a thankful nod I took off running at the other Nullifiers grabbing a broken light post and swinging it like a bat at a winged Nullifier that resembled an owl. "Since when do they shrink to our size?" Hearing Aura yell I pierced my hand through the owl Nullifier's body ripping the core out of his body angrily. "This is the first time!" Yelling to my friends I looked around feeling anxiety swell in the pit of my stomach and every hair on my body stood on edge. A human-sized shadow flew over my body catching my attention as the winged man circled the three men. Before I could stop myself my legs took me in their direction and I managed to make it in time as the Nullifier pierced a long-staffed spear through my stomach. Spitting out a mixture of mucus and blood along the handle the Nullifier chuckled spinning the blade inside my stomach. My friends' screams pierced my ears as my hands shakily grabbed the handle. "Just die human! Your blood will please our King!" He chuckled as blood dripped from the corner of my mouth and my hands firmly held the handle. Slowly lifting my head my eyes connected with his and everything began to burn. My hands began to glow a vibrant orange much like molting lava as the metal handle began to heat up. "Oh, what the hell!" He screeched letting go of the handle as I quickly pulled the blade out of my stomach and swung the spear around my body before stabbing it through his stomach. The force was enough for the blade to pierce through the concrete keeping him in place. Stumbling around I leaned against a light post shaking my head in an attempt to clear my blurry vision. Coughing violently blood splattered on the concrete as I dropped to my left knee breathing heavily. My body was desperately trying to heal my body when several shadows covered my body. With a shaking vision, several soldiers guarded me aiming their guns in various directions and encasing me in a circle of protection. "You protected us so let us protect you this time." Giving the member known as Jin from BTS a thankful smile my eyes closed forcing my body to heal quickly. Taking in several calming deep breaths the ground shook under me from my friends.
