A young housecat called Adir was living a good life, at least others thought so. She hated being a housecat; she wanted to rule all the cats in the forest. She sat on a rock in the backyard, the sun exposing her light brown tabby pelt, it was short but well kept. Her yellow eyes shone in the sun, looking brighter due to the sun. Her tail lashed in annoyance while her owners were calling for her; she ignored them. She then saw a familiar cat in the forest, glaring from afar. She raised a brow mark.
"Why are you here?" She asked, her voice raised as she spoke. Leaping off the rock she trotted over to the road. She looked both ways before crossing and walking on the grass going up to the unknown, calico she-cat, her forest green eyes clouded with annoyance. Adir looked around making sure the feline hadn't brought anyone with her. They were face to face before Adir continued. "Won't you answer my question?" She huffed, tilting her head in annoyance but also confusion.
"I would personally have preferred if you stayed on that ugly rock." The she-cat paused, thinking of what to say. "You two really match. You might even be as dusty as that rock. Don't ya think?" The feline purred with a smirk. Adir glared at the cat, tilting her head back up again. Adirs ear twitched; tail swaying swiftly behind her build.
"You're good with words aren't ya?" Adira hissed, eyes narrowed into slits. The unknown feline didn't budge, not even taking her eyes from Adirs. They felt the cold breeze of the wind flowing through their fur. The feline snarled, baring her teeth.
"You're not welcome." She hissed back at Adir, taking a step forward. They both glared at each other like there was no tomorrow. Adir raised her head confidently, eyes clouded with disgust at the forest cat. The unknown feline felt kind of offended by the look in Adirs eyes but didn't pull her eyes away from hers not even for a second.
"Don't try anything you'll regret... kit" Adir spat leaning down closer to the feline, so they were eye to eye, with a glare. Hazel Fang felt threatened but kept glaring at Adir.
"Oh I won't regret this." Hazel Fang remarked smartly, ears flying back as her gaze didn't waver from the housecat. Adirs eyes flickered to the cats hidden in the overgrowth of the forest, she kept her peripheral view on that at all times.
"You brought more cats with you I see, what, ya not strong enough to fight me yourself?" Adir teased, smirking as she began to circle the forest cat. Adir let out a low chuckle, tail swaying highly behind her build.
The forest cat snickered, bursting out into a cackle. Adir glared at the feline's outburst; snarling at the feline. "No, in fact I am strong enough to fight you. How many moons are you, 100?" She paused with a chuckle. "You're basically an elder, right?" She teased, standing tall and puffing out her chest as she snickered.
Adir glared at the forest cat, a hint of hatred flashed in her glossy eyes. A tom appeared from out of the overgrowth as he rose to his paws after seeing the look in Adirs eyes. Adir had no interest in the tom, her eyes never leaving the she's teasing stare.
The tom's golden pelt shone as he stepped out of the brush, claws unsheathed and ready to get bloody. "Hazel Fang!" He called drawing the Forest cats' attention to him. "We should just leave!" He exclaimed, tail flicking nervously. Hazel Fang merely just turned her ears to the tom; eyes never leaving Adirs.
"Shut your trap Golden Pelt!" Hazel Fang hissed, finally turning to the tom. Adirs took this as a chance to leap at the she. Adir sunk her sharp fangs into the forest cat's dirty fur, gripping harshly at the hackles of the she. Hazel Fang yelped, falling to the ground; unable to move. Golden Pelt winced, yelping out in surprise. Him and the other clan cats made a run for it; scared for their life.
Once Hazel Fang finally broke free from Adirs grasp she was quick to grab hold of the house cat's leg, biting harshly; almost breaking the bone. Adir hissed harshly, falling to the ground. Adir hardly pawed at Hazel Fang's maw with sharp claws. This action made Hazel Fang let go, stumbling back in agony.
Adir smirked devilishly, leaping at Hazel Fang. She pushed Hazel Fang harshly onto the ground clawing at her chest and stomach. Adir ripped open the forest cat's stomach; Hazel Fang's insides spewed all over the ground. This killed the forest cat almost instantly. Adir stepped off the cat, shaking her pelt as she licked the blood from her maw.
Adir sat, grooming her pelt quickly. She glanced at the darkening sky. "I must find a place other than that awful house." Adir sneered, rising to her mitts after fully cleaning her pelt. She ruffled her furbefore strutting off to a random and unoccupied den.
Adir had left Hazel Fang there to be dealt with. Once Adir had found an acceptable cave, this took her longer as she took a detour to hunt, she settled to eat. Adir ripped the hare apart aggressively, eating it with delight. It was around midnight before Adir finally finished. She curled into a ball; falling asleep comfortably.
