"val?" melody said confused (val is melodys younger sister if you don't remember 😓)

the two shared a quick hug

"why are you here?" melody asked

"I'm staying at a friend house for a few days! she's in the shop right now so I came to see the beach. why are you here?" val replied

"I live here?" she replies

"so your going to the beach alone?" val asks

melody didn't go much places alone when she lived at her moms house. partially because her mom wouldn't let her and also because she was always hanging out with atleast one of her friends

"well- not exactly" melody replies again

just as val was about to speak

"hellooo" charlie says, while giving melody a hug

val just stands there confused

"what?" melody asks

"your hanging out with slimecicle?!" val asks confused

"who the fu- oh" melody realises

"is this your sister?" charlie asks

"yeah, thats val. val thats charlie" melody introduces them both

"yeah no shit. I know thats charlie." val continues, still somewhat confused

"I have so many questions" val says again

"we're gonna go now-" melody says

"okay- call me when your back" val shouts before walking off

melody looks over to charlie smirking

"you called yourself fucking slimecicle?" she laughs out

"that's a great name" he replies as they both walk down to the beach

"you could have chose anything in the world and you went with slimecicle" she states again

"yeah. like you'd have anything better" he replies

"anything- is better than slimecicle" she bites back

"I'm gonna binge all your videos when I'm home" she replies

"fine, you do that then. stalker arc" he replies

"your the one that literally typed up where I lived!" she gasped

"yeah but if I didn't then we wouldn't be hanging out right now" he smirks

they both went on while walking. occasionally their hands would brush against eachothers. finally they reached a cafe after walking along the beach for an hour

they both sat down at a table and looked at the cafe menu

"I'm getting grilled cheese" she said straight away (do they serve that in cafes? cause I'm scottish and they sell that, so for the sake of the story- yes they do)

"that was quick" he smiles

"hurry up and choose, I'm really hungry" she whines

"you have awesome manners" he smirks still looking at the menu

"haha, your very funny" she rolls her eyes sarcastically

"I know I am" he smirks back

"okay fine I'll get the grill cheese too" he says

the waiter comes over and they both order their food

their conversation was seemingly normal, everything felt natural when they were with eachother

they both finished their food around an hour later and decided to head back down to the beach, then when it got later they would go to the cinema

she took his hand and they walked down to the beach again

"I'm not playing minecraft with you" she stated

"but we can put our minecraft beds together and everything" he whined

"nope. I'm not doing it" she replied

"your no fun" he frowned

"you should play stardew valley with me instead" she said

"that's just knock off minecraft" he smirked

they both went on for another 20 minutes

"your actually so annoying, you know that?" she said while placing a light punch on his arm

"I think you've mentioned it a few times, yeah" he smirked

the two finally sat down, it was around 7:45pm and they were going to the cinema at 8pm

"we should start walking back now" he stood up and offered her a hand

when she stood up they were both standing right infront of eachother

they stared at eachother for a few moments

"charlie-" she spoke before getting cut off with him gently placing his lips against hers

butterflies filled her stomach as she smiled into the kiss. he gently cupped her face as she ran her hands through his hair.

everything was perfect
