"WHAT THE FUCK" he shouted running away from melody

"why do you suck at this?" she said in a low tone, being serious but in a sarcastic way.

she managed to shoot him again, making him drop down to the ground. he was very extra, it made her laugh

"IM SO CRACKED AT THIS" she shouted

"your literally playing lazar tag with a few 10 year olds and a minecraft youtuber, what did you expect" he laughs

"don't ruin my good vibes" she frowns, running away to go shoot some more people

they were both panting, staring eachother down as they waited to see the scores

"YEAH I WON" she yelled, rubbing it in

she was clearly very competitive, he smiled rolling his eyes

"whatever dude I was just going easy on you" he said sarcastically a grin on his face

"beach." she said blankly to him, almost as an offer

"beach? we can go to the beach?" he replied whilst walking out of the lazar tag place

"motorcycle to the beach?" she asked, he still had his car in the parking lot but he could always take him back to get it.

"yeah sure, please don't kill us both" he said half joking and half dead serious, a nervous laugh in his voice

he had been on the motorcycle enough to know she wasn't gonna kill them both, but he was still absolutely terrified each time he went on it. he did love it though, after he got used to the adrenaline kind of feeling

she sat on the motorcycle helping charlie with his helmet once again

"there" she smiled adjusting his helmet correctly

he smiled and sat on the back, wrapping his hands around her waist.

they both knew the drill at this point. still. it never got boring. the wind a gentle breeze, the sun was shining quite bright and his smile still huge. hers was too

they both arrived at the beach and walked down to the best part of it. the place they went the first time they met.

they both sat down on the sand, a comfortable silence rushing over the two

eventually charlie broke the silence
"I could throw you in the ocean agai-" he joked for the 70th time

"I'll throw you in the ocean" she retaliated, knowing quite well she couldn't even if she tried

he laughed

he took a deep breathe in "this seems really cliche but would you want to be my girlfrie-"

he was cut off with a kiss. they both smiled into it

they pulled away

"Is that a ye-"

"shut up you dumbass" she rolled her eyes, kissing him once again.

deepening the kiss this time.

she had no idea how she ended up in this situation. it was almost to good to be true

meeting him was pure fate, he thought the same about her.
