Students

Starflight woke too Someone shaking him awake.

" Fatespeaker " He mumbled.

" Get up sleepy head, The students are arriving." Fatespeaker said and Starflight's head shot up. " Great now I have to escort new students to their cave. Bye" and she ran out of the room.

Starflight got ready and ran over to unlock the library. He fumbled with the lock for a second until it popped off. He slid the lock in a draw on his desk when he saw Qibli fly by the window. 

" Hey Starflight" Moon said from behind him. " Is Qibli here." she asked looking at the new scroll shelf.

" I just saw he fly by the window." Starflight answered.

" Okay, wait why can't I read your mind and how did you see him." Moon asked.

" With this." Starflight said pointing at the armband.

" Hey" Qibli said walking in the room with Winter behind him.

" Starflight can see now" Moon exclaimed.

" That's great" Qibli said.

" Winter how did the scavenger study go" Starflight asked.

" I saw one scavenger drawing a picture, another scavenger called them over and I snuck over and looked at the drawing, and it was of me." Winter explained.

"Really" Starflight asked.

" Yes" Winter growled" I think they're studying us."

" Maybe we should go together:" Starflight said.

" Let's go tonight" Winter said.

" Okay, come get me" Starflight said. " As returning students, Moon, could you and Qibli watch the library when I leave."

" Sure" Moon said

" Of course " Qibli agreed. After catching up a little bit more the Jade winglet all went back to their caves. Soon almost all the students had arrived and they were only waiting on a few more students when Starflight saw five sandwings approaching. He started running down the halls towards the entrance. When he finally got there he was greeted by Fatespeaker and Sunny.

" What's wrong" Fatespeaker asked.

" I saw five sandwings flying this way." Starflight said panting.

" Mom" Sunny yelped leaping from her spot into the sandwing queen's arms.

" Sunny" Thorn said hugging her back.

" Six-claws" Sunny still hugging her mother.

" We have some important news". Thorn said " Gather the students"

" Sunny you stay with Queen Thorn and FAtespeaker and I will round up all the students." Starflight said. He and Fatespeaker split up and He got all the boys and Fatespeaker got all the girls. As the students started walking into the main hall they gasped at the Sandwing guards holding spears. One sandwing (Ostrich  he guessed) ran up to Six-claws and Thorn and gave them each a hug. Once all the students were present Tsunami started speaking.

" Welcome back to school to the beginning of a new year. Today we have Queen Thorn here to speak to you about a class that the Council of Queens would like you to learn about." Tsunami announced as Queen Thorn and Six-claws stepped up on stage.  

" Hello students" Thorn said " I have come on behalf of the council, we think we should bring one general and left hand man of the Queen to tell you how the kingdom and armies work in different tribes. This class will start in two days and run for a week." Thorn finished and she walked off the stage with her guards behind her.

" Our guests that will be teaching this will arrive tomorrow, make them feel welcome." Tsunami finished. " Now enjoy the rest of your nights." and she walked off the stage.

" Ready to go now" Winter asked coming up from behind Starflight.

" Let's go." Starflight said. He walked over to Moon and gave her the key then took off with Winter to do some research.
