[The scene changes to Tony standing over, looking where the cylinder glass cage used to be. When Steve quietly walks in, leaning over the rails.]

Steve: "Was he married?"

Tony: "No. There was a cellist, I think."

Steve: "I'm sorry. He seemed like a good man."

Tony: "He was an idiot. Not even Jade would do something like this..." [He mutters the last sentence]

Some shake their heads for the disrespect.

Steve: "Why? For believing?"

Tony: "For taking on Loki alone." [Tony starts to walk towards Steve.]

Oh.

Steve: "He was doing his job."

Tony: "He was out of his league. He shouldhave waited. He should have"

Steve: "Sometimes there isn't a way out,Tony. "

Tony: "Right. I've heard that before. "

Steve: "Is this the first time you've losta soldier?" [Tony walks past him before turning around to face him.]

Tony: "We are not soldiers." [A moment of silence.] "I'm not marching to Fury's fife."

Steve: "Neither am I. He's got the same blood on his hands that Loki does. But right now, we got to put that behind us and get this done." [Tony looks at the part where Phil was slumped. There was a dent.] "NowLoki needs a power source, if wecan put together a list-"

Tony: "He made it personal." [He turns back to Steve.]

Steve: "That's not the point."

Tony: "That is the point. That's Loki's point. He hit us all right where we live. Why?"

Steve: "To tear us apart."

Tony: "Yeah, divide and conquer is great but he knows he has to take us out to win, right? That's what he wants. He wants to beat us, he wants to be seen doing it. He wants an audience." [He walks past him.]

Steve: "Right. I caught his act in Stuttgart."

Tony: "Yeah, that was just previews. This is opening night." [He walks towards the huge whole left] "And Loki, he's a full-tilt diva, right? He wants flowers, he wants parades. He wants a monument built to the skies with his name plastered..." [Steve raises his eyebrows.] "Son of a witch."

Everyone chuckled at him.

[The scene cuts to Selvig setting up the device to open the portal. The scene zooms out and it shows on the very top floor of Stark towers.]

[The scene cuts to Captain America opening the door and entering.]

CA: "Time to go." [Inside Natasha is seen stood up, and Jade is seen in the same position.]

Nat: "Go where?"

CA: "I'll tell you on the way." [Nat and Jade exchange glances.] "Can you fly one of those jets?" [Clint comes out of the rest room.]

Clint: "I can." [Steve looks at him before looking at Nat. She nods confirming Clint is on their side. Steve looks at him.]

Steve: "You got a suit?"
