The cool night air carried the scent of buttered popcorn and freshly cut grass as the Autobots slowly powered up, their optics adjusting to the dim glow of an outdoor cinema. This was not the military base they had last been stationed in. The vast landscape of asphalt and parked cars surrounding them was eerily quiet, except for the soft hum of a nearby projector.
Optimus Prime was the first to scan their surroundings, his blue optics narrowing. This is not Earth's battlefield... The last thing they remembered was being in their base, strategizing for their next mission—so how did they end up here?
They weren't alone.
Another group stood just a few feet away, equally disoriented. Their stances were cautious but well-trained, hands drifting near their weapons. Among them was Sky, one of the best specialists of Alfea, who instinctively moved into a defensive stance—until he turned and met the glowing blue optics of a towering, hulking robot.
Sky's breath hitched. His first instinct was to reach for his sword, but the massive mechanical beings made no hostile movements. They were watching the group with curiosity rather than aggression. The fairies and specialists of Alfea hesitated, whispering amongst themselves.
Then—
"Hey, Bee!"
The enthusiastic call came from Robbie, a fellow specialist from Alfea. He waved up at the yellow Autobot, Bumblebee, who gave an awkward, but friendly, wave back.
Sky's eyes widened in shock. "Robbie?" His voice was laced with disbelief. He knew Robbie well, but what stunned him even more was how comfortable his friend seemed around these massive sentient machines. "You... know them?"
Robbie grinned, nodding. "Yeah, long story, but let's just say Bumblebee and I go way back."
Mikaela, standing next to Robbie, smirked. "You get used to them—eventually."
The students from Alfea slowly began to relax, realizing the towering robots were not a threat.
But before anyone could ask more questions, the air suddenly crackled.
A swirling vortex of orange light burst open beside them, illuminating the night. From its depths, another group of figures tumbled out onto the pavement, groaning as they scrambled to their feet.
"What the—?"
"Language!"
"Shut up!"
The bickering voices were unmistakable.
Sky turned to face the newcomers—only to see Earth's Mightiest Heroes standing before him.
The Avengers.
Tony Stark dusted off his sleek, black suit, scowling. "Stark, what did you do this time?" Steve Rogers asked, arms crossed.
Tony huffed. "Nothing! Why don't you ask Point Break?" He gestured at Thor, who raised an eyebrow in offense.
The Autobots immediately stiffened, their optics flashing as they instinctively lifted their weapons, training them on the new arrivals. The Avengers, in turn, went rigid, hands twitching toward their weapons.
But then—
"Oh, it's just Bumblebee and his friends," Natasha Romanoff observed, relaxing her stance.
Ironhide, the battle-hardened weapons specialist of the Autobots, scowled. "How the hell did we get here?! Weren't we just back at the base?" His gruff voice carried through the open space as he turned to Optimus Prime for answers.
