Note: Made at the same time as the Valentine's short. This was just something for fun where I wanted to interact with some of my readers and test out this kind of format. I may do another one of these sometime in the future, maybe close to the end of "Season 1" of On-Brand Loyalty.

A man in a suit with brown hair sits in a chair and addresses you, the reader, "Hello everybody, I'm OmegaKing99. If you're forgotten already, I announced last chapter that I would be doing a Q&A to go along with the release of the new Murder Drones episode." He stepped off the chair and walked around to reveal he's on a stage. "I've had a good handful of questions submitted through both Wattpad and Archive of Our Own, so let me take some time to answer them."

He pulled out a remote and turned on a large screen, "Let's start with the questions directly meant for me, firstly being one from my fellow writer and beta reader."

SETUP

"What led you to come up with the idea for the story in the first place? And do you have a general idea for how it will play out?"

"I actually wrote this story on a whim. I thought there should be more J-centric stories than what she currently has and wanted to contribute. Then I came up with the idea of a sort of counterpart to N. Rather than a rebellious Disassembly Drone who gets inspired by Uzi, we get a loyal Worker Drone employed by J. From there I wrote the first chapter with no real overarching story and just thought up an actual plot as I went along. As for plans, to be honest I'm mostly winging it. I do have keystone events planned up to the adaptation of the Pilot episode, but very little afterward since I'm still deciding how to end my Season 1."

"Will Uzi, Thad, etc show up in the story, and would it affect the canon's divergence or stay the same?"

"All canon characters will show up in some way within the events of On-Brand Loyalty. While I would like to line up with the canon show, inevitably I will stray from the path and do original ideas with these characters. If one character is killed off within the main series, there's a possibility I will either keep them around for my own story or change how that death may happen."

"Would you maybe work on an alternative reality chapter where Dror was a Disassembly Drone that was part of D's squad before being left to rot during one of their hunts and later on J would find him inside that bunker where he was left behind and took him in her squad out of pity because of how much of a jerk-face that D is but also because of how useful Dror could be."

"Outright, I don't think I would ever want to do an AU of On-Brand Loyalty from the ground up but if I ever feel like doing an AU One-Shot, this wouldn't be a bad idea to use. I already have a drawn concept of Dror as a Disassembly Drone, so there's that."

"So, the Absolute Solver. For WDs it seems to give psychic powers(so far), and for DDs, it gives them an eldritch parasite to rebuild them if damaged too far. Any chance it's gonna be significant to Dror or the enemy squadron down the line, or is it just gonna be for J, Doll, and Uzi when we get to the canon part of the timeline?"

"The Absolute Solver seems like an essential factor to the overall story and lore of Murder Drones, so it's definitely going to have a lot of attention within the story of On-Brand Loyalty. As for how it may affect my own characters such as Dror, that depends on how I end Season 1 and proceed with the story in Season 2. I have several different potential endings for Season 1 which will affect the progress of this story that I haven't decided on yet and I can say for now that the Absolute Solver is more prevalent in some more than others. Time will tell, my friend."
