Jay and I bought a crib down in Delaware, you know? A fly spot, six bedrooms, a finished basement, and a two-car garage . Jay threw me twenty grand, said, "Open a store, Lyric." Things were looking good but somethin' was off. Jay, he started actin' cocky and rockin' designer, staying out for days on end. Always on the road, and our schedules never synced up. Missed the Jay I used to vibe with, the dude I fell for back when I was 12, and we got together at 17.

Remember that boy with the heart of gold? The one who dipped from his cushy life to shack up with me in that rundown apartment? Yeah, that's the one. But lately, he'd crash at home, sleepin' for days, only to hit the road again like clockwork. I'm sorting  through laundry one day, and bam, I spot a shirt – lipstick stain smack dab on it. Fury bubblin' up, I stormed into our bedroom, woke him up with a vengeance.

"Jay, what's this?" I demanded, holdin' up that shirt like evidence in a courtroom.

He squinted at it, rubbing his eyes like he was waking up from a deep dream. "Lyric, chill. It ain't what you think."

Oh, it was exactly what I thought. The boy who once vowed to be my ride or die was now caught up in some mess. "Spill it, Jay. What's been going down? You're always out, like you've forgotten everything we've been through."

He sighed, like he was carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders.
"This music game, Lyric. It's wild. I'm trying to make it big, for us."

"For us or just for yourself?" I shot back, disappointment heavy in my words.

He sat up, running a hand through his hair. "I know I've been distant. But I promise, once things calm down, we'll be good."

Calm down? Promises felt empty, like he was spinning some record with a scratch. Days turned to weeks, and that space between us grew, swallowing up the love we once had. That Delaware house, once a symbol of our success, now just felt like a cold shell.

The echoes of our past, of the boy I fell for, haunted me. The boy who'd drop everything to be with me now caught up in a whirlwind of fame. Days turned into nights, and I decided it was time to talk – to get real. Sat him down in the living room, silence hanging heavy.

"Jay, we gotta talk," I started, the weight of my words matching the somber vibe in the room.

He looked at me, resignation in his eyes. "I know, Lyric. I've been trippin', and I'm sorry."

But sorry couldn't stitch up the cracks in our foundation. We talked it out, the air thick with unspoken truths. Decided it was time to part ways, sell that Delaware house – a chapter closed.

As we went our separate ways, the boy I fell for at 12, who had a heart of gold, faded into a distant memory. The love matured but couldn't ride out the storm of changing dreams. I carried the weight of our past, navigating the aftermath of a love story that had morphed but couldn't stand up to the whirlwind of growth and ambition.

''Who does this belong to ?" i asked him , shaking the bed. Jay jumped up out of his sleep and rubbed his eyes.

''Babe....a fan kissed my shirt ....come on now...you really think i want anyone else?" He said holding out his hand.

I sighed and sat down beside him. I didn't know what to think. He was always gone.

The night air was heavy with the promise of a summer storm, but inside the house, I felt a different kind of heat. Jay, my lover of almost a year, was holding me close, his hands tracing circles on my back as I leaned into him. Our hearts beat in tandem, and I felt a flush that I knew had nothing to do with the humidity.

"I don't know what to think," I said, pulling my head away from his chest. "You're always gone."Jay's answer was to press his lips to my neck, sending shivers of pleasure coursing through my body. His hands began to wander up my nightgown, and I gasped as I felt his fingers find my breasts.

"Just trust me," he whispered, his breath hot against my skin. "No one has me the way you have me."I closed my eyes and surrendered to the moment, knowing that whatever storms were coming, Jay and I would find our way through them together.

My heart raced as I felt the warmth and strength of his body pressed against mine. His strong hands caressed my curves, leaving me wanting more. I shuddered with anticipation, my body screaming for the pleasure I knew was coming. He pulled me closer, his mouth searching mine hungrily. His tongue explored my mouth, his teeth gently nibbling my lips. I gasped at the sensation, feeling my body heat up with desire. His hands moved all around, each caress like a lightning bolt through my body.I felt my thighs quiver as he slipped his hand inside my panties. His fingers caressed my clit, sending waves of pleasure through my body. My breathing quickening, my arms wrapped around his neck and my legs around his waist. He moved his hands around to my lower back, lifting me up and pressing me against his body. I felt my heart pound as he slipped his rock hard dick inside of me, my body craving more and more of him. His strokes were deep and powerful, sending me into a state of pure ecstasy. We moved together as one, our bodies intertwined and our souls connected. I looked into his eyes and I could feel the love radiating from him. This moment was perfect, and nothing would ever come close.
