3rd Person POV

Tears immediately began to well into Y/N's eyes as she stared at the photo. Gracie was on a date instead of at the party she promised to be at. Gracie was on a date with Hayes, the guy she said not to worry about. Gracie was a liar.

"Excuse me for a minute I'm going to the restroom really quick." Y/N said just above a whisper. Rushing off to the bathroom she collapsed on the ground letting out all her unshed tears. She was finding it difficult to breathe, her head spinning and hands shaking. Everything was coming undone and it was like being isolated from everyone.

That was until Olivia came in after 5 minutes clearly worried. She always seemed to know when something was really wrong.

"Oh Y/NN I'm so sorry" she whispered softly as she brought her into an embrace. Neither girl really caring about how unsanitary the floor was.

"I'm so stupid, of course she wasn't going to change. He can give her everything." Y/N said through her broken cries.

On the other side of the door, Beatrice was listening in. Her heart slowly breaking with each sharp breath she heard Y/N take. Unsure of what to do she lightly knocked on door. Not even a second later the door slightly creaked open revealing the sight of a broken Y/N.

"Aw baby c'mere" Beatrice said with sympathy lacing her voice. Y/N slowly got up before hugging Beatrice so tight they almost lost balance. Nuzzling her face into the crook of her neck, Y/N's heartbeat began to return to a normal rate. "Does this mean I'm your favorite person now" Bea asked jokingly trying to ease the mood.

"Yeah it does" Y/N said releasing a small laugh. Pulling away from the embrace she felt cold but brushed it off. "God I look like shit!" she exclaimed wiping away the runny mascara.

Beatrice took this as a sign to look for makeup wipes and thankfully found them in the first drawer she opened. She carefully grabbed Y/N's chin and delicately wiped off the remaining makeup never once breaking eye contact.

"You know you really don't need this gunk anyways" she said in a hushed tone. At those words Y/N's face began to redden and it wasn't because of the crying. The two continued staring at each other not daring to make a move until...

"Cmon guys I'm still in here!" Olivia slightly yelled with a small smile on her face, clearly amused by the situation.

"Right um- well you know what?" Y/N asked. "Fuck it it's fine. I just turned 21 and it's barely gonna be twelve so we're gonna go out and get absolutely shit faced!"

"That's the spirit right there Y/NN! I'll go tell everyone to go home, the real party's about to begin!" Olivia screamed already halfway out of the bathroom.

After everyone left the three girls redid their makeup and took out into the 'magical' city that is LA. They went from bar to bar not really caring about how loud they were as they stumbled through the dark streets. That is until they bumped into a group of girls.

"Hey watch where you're going!" a ginger girl yelled at the three.

"No YOU watch where YOURE going" Y/N said in a slurred voice.

"Wait- Y/N?" the ginger asked.

"Huh?" Y/N questioned as she fully opened her eyes and tried rubbing the haziness from them. As soon as she laid eyes on the girl her drunken state vanished. "Audrey??"

"Are you drunk right now?" the girl, now known as Audrey, asked.

"What?! Pfft no of course not!" Y/N squeaked out afraid of this whole situation. "Look we got to start going but it was nice seeing you Audrey."

"Yeah same.." the girl began but couldn't even finish as Y/N and the other two ran off quickly.

"Sooooo who was that?" Bea asked once they were out of sight. The three were leaning against a wall trying to catch their breath.

"That was Gracie's best friend." Y/N answered in a monotone voice. "I'm so fucked there's no way she doesn't tell Gracie!" she exclaimed with her head in her hands.

"Look it'll all be fine, maybe we should head home it's been a long night." Olivia suggested as she wasn't in the mood to take care of a drunk emotional Y/N.

"Yeah you're right, I'll get us an uber." Y/N said as she pulled out her phone. "Bea you can stay the night with us, it's pretty late and your car is still at my house."

"I'll take you up on that offer Y/NN" Beatrice replied with a tiny smile on her face.

"Hey now, there better be no funny business while I'm under the same roof as you two" Olivia said sternly pointing her finger between the two of them.

"Ew Olivia" Y/N faked gagged even though she was currently as red as a tomato.

Finally arriving home, the girls ripped off their heels and threw themselves on the sofa. They stayed like that for what felt like an eternity, not wanting to get up.

"Alright I'm leaving or else I'm knocking out on this couch." Olivia said as she slowly rolled off the couch and onto the floor.

"Night Liv!" Y/N yelled as Olivia began the treacherous journey up the stairs. Turning over to look at Beatrice she noticed her eyes began to close. "Bea cmon let's go to bed" she said shaking her small frame.

"Noooooooo, I'm comfortable right here." Beatrice groaned into the pillow. Before Y/N could respond they heard a loud BANG from upstairs.

"ITS ALL GOOD IT WAS JUST THIS STUPID- MOVE OUT OF THE WAY- STUPID CHAIR!" Olivia's voice echoed through the house. Both girls downstairs looked at each other before bursting out in laughter.

"Okay yeah let's go" Beatrice said between laughs. "Um where am I sleeping though?"

"Right well um- my other room is being renovated soooo. We can share my bed- but like if that makes you uncomfortable then we don't need to- but um if you want I'll sleep downstairs or on the floor whatever you want!" Y/N stumbled over her response, feeling nervous for some unknown reason.

"You're cute you know. Also a big dork, but we can share a bed I don't find it uncomfortable at all." Beatrice told her enjoying seeing Y/N's nervousness.

The two made their way upstairs into the master bedroom in silence, not really having words to say.

"There's spare toothbrushes under my sink and anything else you could need" Y/N told her with her mouth filled with toothpaste.

"Okay thanks, but do you have any pajamas. I'm not too keen on sleeping in a dress" Beatrice joked as she waved her hands up and down her body dramatically. Y/N went to her drawers and grabbed a pair of plaid pajama pants and a random sweater.

"Is this a 1989 hoodie?" Beatrice asked as she caught the hoodie in her hands.

"Noooo definitely not." Y/N lied feeling embarrassed by the whole situation. Sensing the very clear embarrassment Bea said, "Well let me just say that's one of her best albums."

Once Beatrice finished up in the bathroom they both got under the covers and laid in silence.

"Can you hold me?" Y/N asked breaking the silence. "You don't have to- I just I sleep better like that and it's been a long night you know."

"I get it, plus it probably would've happened in our sleep anyways." Beatrice began as she wrapped her arms around the taller girl.

It didn't take long for Beatrice to hear the even breathing of the younger girl indicating she was asleep. Placing a small kiss atop of her head Beatrice whispered "I would never hurt you like she did." before she let her tiredness consume her.
