[ ~ Chapter • Start ~ ]

Three weeks have passed, and outside the castle of Olga Discordia, Jonathan was walking around what had been left of the small town that was formerly occupied by Dark Elves, now occupied by Demons, expressing his dissatisfaction at them.

"It's the first time I've been outside your castle, and now we have company?" He asked, as he stared at the Demons that were approaching them.

They were a few groups consisting of three minotaurs, 8 orcs, 20 goblins and 5 gargoyles.

And they looked enraged as they glared at the two of them.

"Blame me and my waning powers, but now.... They need to be disciplined." Olga replied, narrowing her eyes as she grasped her staff tightly.

Jonathan, the moment he noticed several goblins, became enraged. Obviously because he just really hated them to the point of actually slaughtering goblins made by the Invaders at his past life.

"And goblins need to be extinct. Manifest, [Psionic Blade] !" Jonathan suddenly muttered, clapping his hands before a hard-light rapier made out of Psychic Energy manifested before him.

"Why?" Olga asked rather curiously, "Is it because you have a hatred against them?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Jonathan shot back coldly, watching as the demons began to surround them.

One of the demons, steaming in rage, pointed at Olga and Jonathan.

"Dark Queen! We are now free from your grasp, so we will take revenge against you and your kind first!" A minotaur roared out, before snarkily grinning at the two. "Everyone! You know what to do!"

Various roars, cackling, and other cheers resounded through the Demons, and immediately after growing silent, they charged towards the two, thinking they were being intimidated.

However their faces were indifferent.

Olga raised her staff, sending pulses of mana to it before slamming it down to the ground. A light rumble appeared in the ground, before tens of earthen spike erected from the ground, impaling the demons through their heads.

The luckier ones only had their limbs impaled, rendering them unable to move forwards.

And the luckiest minotaur had his horns broken off, but his body was still riddled with wounds. Aside from that, he earned a light concussion from falling back to the ground.

Even so, it proved ineffective to the gargoyles flying on the air while they narrowly avoided the spikes to go past the slower ground troops.

Yet, it was suddenly shot down by a few arrows.

Looking at where it was, even briefly, they were the other Demons living inside the Castle, aiming their bows at the hostile ones.

"Protect boss man and boss lady!" An Orc yelled out, pointing at the Demons that were approaching from the distance.

"Aye!!"

Jonathan and Olga glanced at the distance to find different more demons approaching their location with the intent to invade.

The two of them smiled, just before Jonathan swung his blade to decapitate or cut the bodies of the mindless goblins in half with an incredibly wide arc of sharpened Psychic Energy.
