Chapter 10: Stupid Stupid STUPID Media!!!

Skye's P.O.V.

"Hey Horse Head! Do you and Alec want to go get some lunch today?" Louis asks.

Ever since the day I gave him April we've gotten really close.

Let me tell you though... It's hard having a trio of guy friends. People giving you odd looks when you go down the street. I don't do too well with girls my own age simply because of my brother.

"Sure Carrot Brain!" I laugh.

"Okay, meet me at the door at noon and bring !Butch!" He grins and bounces away.

"Why are you so bouncy at this ungodly hour?" Liam walks into the kitchen rubbing his eyes.

"When is he not?" I mutter.

"Skye, Alec, and I are grabbing lunch today!!!" Louis squeals with happiness.

I roll my eyes and walkto my room to get ready. Butch was sleeping on the bed. I grab his leather collar and pink leash and put it on him. My outfit was pink polo that said Ariat on it, jeggings, and my black converse. I text Alec to get ready. He texts back saying he has Strep Throat.

Well then.

"SKYLAR ALEXIS PAYNE! ARE YOU AND ALEC READY YET?" Louis screams up the stairs.

I run down the stairs, towing Butch along. Louis is holding a small  Boston Terrier in his arms.

"Alec's got Strep so he can't go. And since when did you get a dog?" I my nutty friend, who probably shouldn't even own a dog.

"That's okay! We can go anyways, and maybe get Al some ice cream! This is Winston! I just got him because I thought it would help me get over my break up with Eleanor!" He strokes the dog gently.

"Alright, lets go! LIAM WE'LL BE BACK SOON!" I yell over my shoulder.

"Okay bring me some ice cream!" He answers back.

I grab Butch then we climb into Louis' car. Louis and Winston get in and we drive off.

"Hey Louis, you know what I find strange?" I ask.

"Hmm?" He answers.

"I find it strange that I don't have any friends that are girls! Let alone friends my own age!" I giggle.

"Hey! You're almost 17 now! You're pretty close in age to us!" He laughs.

"Oh shut up." I reply. We drive for a little while before we pull up to the dog friendly cafe' in town.

"C'mon Butchers!" I pull my sable collie out of the car. Louis picks up Winston and sets him on the sidewalk. I get a soup, salad, and a half of a sandwich, while Louis got a sausage roll and a salad.

"Forget Liam's sister! You should be Niall's sister!" He laughs at me.

I narrow my eyes and stick my tongue out at him. Butch barks to seal the deal. I let out a small laugh. Winnie starts doing this wierd little bark and cough thing.

"What's he doing?" Louis panics.

"He's laughing!" I smirk.

"This ice cream is so good I want to marry it!" Louis moans.

I nod and savor more of my egg nog ice cream. Butch and Winston are sharing a cup of vanilla. We just stopped by the ice cream shoppe and now we're at the park.
