Chapter 5: Tex

I wake up the next morning and run downstairs. Liam and Alec are standing there chatting and making breakfast. I'm definitely up for some pranking! With careful steps, I creep up behind them and just as I'm about to pounce, my phone went off, scaring me! I start swearing and jumpng around earning funny looks from Alec and Liam. Everyone else runs in.

"Who's dying?" Zayn asks. I stop jumping and swearing.

"I need to take this." I answer me phone.

Me: Hello!

Person: Hello Skye! We just wanted to tell you that a rather large package has came to the post office addressed to you.

Me: Oh hey Tre!

Tre: Hello. The package also stinks! What did you order sister?

Me: I have no idea but I'll see you in a few!

Tre: Bye now.

I hang up with everyone staring at me.

"What. Were. You. Doing?!" Liam yells.

"I was going to scare you but instead it kinda back fired! I need to go to the post office as well!" I laugh at my own idiocy.

"Okay? We can go now i guess." Liam sighs and goes to the car.

After ten minutes of driving we arrive at the post office. I run in, excitement over running me.

"Well howdy stranger!" Tre laughs and leads me to the back room. There WAS a big crate in there!

"This is awfully big! Should we open it now?" I ask. Tre disappears for a second.

He comes back holding a crow bar. "Shall we?" He asks. I nod. (I probably forgot to tell you, Tre is Leroy's son. We are really good friends as well.) He pries it open and after an explosion of shavings, a pony came into view. It's a miniature horse!

"What the devil?" asks Tre and I . The mini stares at us with big blue eyes. It was rather short and it had a creamy white coat. It also has a big red ribbon around it's neck. There's a note attached. I pick it up and read it.

Hey Skye! I brought you a mini horse from Texas! We couldn't keep him much longer or my Dad said he was going on the meat truck. His name is Replay's Texas Bigshot. Tex for short, and he is partly blind. Hope you like him! Take care of Butch! - Love Austin.

"What does it say?" Tre asks. I show him the note.

"Weird! Are you going to keep it? And where is Butch by the way?" He asks.

"Yes. Crap! I forgot! That crazy collie is still at Camp Bow wow!" I exclaim.

"Well, Time to get on your way! See you later!" He waves. I led Tex out to the car. Liam's eyes practically bugged out of his head.

"THAT WAS YOUR PACKAGE!" He shrieks. I slowly nodded.

"Oh my god!You go in and come out with another pony!?" He yells again.

"It's from Austin." I shrug and help Tex into the back.

"Seriously? This is a Porsche!" He face palms.

"Oh Shut up and take me to the barn!" I snap. He just shook his head and drove off.

We arrived at the barn in 10 minutes.

"Bye Liam! Don't forget to pick up Butch at Camp Bow Wow!" I yell as I lead Tex into the barn. He waves and drives off. I text Alec.

Me: Bring your truck over here!

Alec: Y?

Me: We're pranking them!

Alec: K c u soon. Be there in 5!
