A dead Sandy..

Sandy is my oc, I'll do a hc list of sandy alive later, but I kinda needed a dump -

° So the laurel family (Sandy's family) all died in a fire, and if sandy didn't survive, would the twins still have such a strong attachment to sandy that they do with her around?

° Sandy would have died at age 7, so, I'm mostly sure, the twins would still be attached, because at this point, they had been friends with sandy for nearly 5 years, so the impact would be huge
So I think, whenever the twins see a ginger that looks like sandy, they'll bawl, when they see a sandbox, they loose it. Because it hurts like hell for them to see something that reminds them of a friend they lost. And sometimes bringing up fire can make them zone out, because that's how sandy would have passed. By a fire

° The article on the fire would have been a lot bigger, because it wasn't just everyone in a family minus one, it was the *entire* laurel family, that died in the great laurel fire(what I'm calling it).

° So if someone brought up the article, like I'd gin found it and brought it to the team as a topic, the twins would start crying. And they both keep presents that sandy would give them, such as bracelets from age 4 (which the twins grew out of, and sandy had replaced, but without sandy, they kept the bracelets, even if just to have the beads from it dangle on a necklace), fox plushies from age 3 (which sandy had gifted to them as a new friendship gift), hair clips, one bee and one raccoon, from age 5 (sandy had gifted as a funny little gift). Stickers of bees, racoons, and foxes from age 6 (sandy gifted it on their birthday). And at age 7, before her trip, sandy gifted the twins her most prized things, a grey bandana, a grey heart clip, a yellow ball, and a yellow plushie she name "ba-ba" (sandy wanted the twins to not forget her while she was on the trip).

° the twins became incredibly attached to these items and keep them with them every day, and the other things that the laurel family had left in their house in hyogo.

° even the Miya family gained the house, because that's how much the Miya's meant to the laurels.

° Atsumu and Osamu on Sandy's birthday, go to swedenz even in timeskip, they never miss a year, and they just visit the laurel graveyard.

° The twins liked to talk about sandy, and whenever asked, they only speak fondly of sandy.

° Once, Inarizaki had asked about sandy, and Osamu and atsumu happily talked for hours about how goofy sandy was, and how much they treasure and miss her.

° komori did trigger a crying episode from the twins because he looks so similar to sandy, sakusa and Suna both witnessed it and tried their best to comfort them.

° Atsumu baked a lot more at night, and sometimes osamu cooks at night. They do this because Sandy loved their cooking and baking.

° Papa and Mama Miya definitely kept the laurel house, for if atsumu or osamu wanted it when they were older.

° atsumu and Osamu both wore two family crests on their wedding, as honor to their friend, and to their family

° Mama Miya definitely had a hard time breaking it to the twins that Sandy wasn't coming back.

° Atsumu was definitely more open to staying under Osamu's protection, because he didn't have Sandy as a second judge anymore. So I don't think Sakuatsu was a safe pairing. So either atsumu did not date at all. Or he dated an already close friend, like aran or suna, more likely suna. And I don't think osamu let himself fall in love, because he was terrified that letting himself love, would distract him from protecting atsumu. (Sandy helped osamu understand that he doesn't need to protect atsumu, atsumu can defend himself more often then not.)

° Osamu debated on going pro with Atsumu.

° atsumu injured himself, pushing himself to much. So he couldn't continue. (Both osamu and sandy would reprimand atsumu for going over a minute of practice, especially in highschool when atsumu was more prone to over work). So instead of going pro, Atsumu opened a bakery

° osamu opened up his onigiri shop right next to Atsumu's bakery. It was still called the onigiri Miya, while Atsumu's bakery was called "The laurel-Miya bakery"

° the twins depended on Sandy's rationality a lot. And when sandy passed, they didn't have the stable friend that kept them under control. So they were incredibly unstable.

° Sandy's grave had two family crests on it when she passes after the great laurel fire, so like, lived a normal life. But when she died in the Fire, she only has one crest, and that's the laurel crest.

° The Miya family definitely pushed for a investigation on the fire more so when sandy died in the fire, rather then just support sandy when she wanted to investigate.

° The cause of the fire was found more quickly then if sandy was alive. Which the fire was caused by someone who openly dislikes the laurel family.

° Osamu and Atsumu were definitely less stable without sandy, and it gave kita a headache each time he tried to contain their chaos.

° Suna was a little more level headed, because he had to contain not only atsumu, but osamu too. And he couldn't handle it, so he left atsumu.

° osamu was definitely more quick to anger while atsumu was just straight up angry.

° neither can look at a sandBox

° sandy would be the one to help osamu open up to love, and would help atsumu keep himself together and not fall apart at one insult. So without that stable support, you have an emotionally repressed raccoon, and a very emotionally unstable bee.

° sandy helped Inarizaki's baseball team from running into the ground, without sandy, it ended up disbanding out of embarrassment.

° also sandy x Rina wouldn't of happened, so there's another downside (Rina belongs to a friend)

° mama Miya and papa Miya both tried to help their sons keep stable mentally, but weren't so well themselves because they also lost really close friends

° Both twins would be too unstable to be around, so it would definitely cause some stress or harm to each other, themselves, or to the ones they love.

° With no one to stop the twins from forms of self torture, they could potentially harm themselves in a way that cannot heal. (Not talking about life ending)

So basically, life without sandy, isn't that dandy 🥰
