Few days later.
Ellery_

I closed the last page with a heavy sigh. I looked at the clock on the wall, tilting my head. 9:27 at night. It's the second day I've worked until such an hour.
"Are you going home already?" I asked Emma, getting up from my seat and picking up my jacket.
"Yes," she said, also standing up and typing something on her computer.
I nodded to her, taking my purse and phone to call a taxi.
"Have you seen your landlord yet?" She asked as we started walking towards the elevator.
"Yes" I answered her, looking up from the phone to her.
"Is he hot?" She asked, raising both eyebrows.
"Very" I said rolling my eyes, "Its Silas Garcia" I quickly added to her.
"What?" She twisted quietly.
"Yes, you heard me right" I answered her.
"That's a big coincidence," she laughed inwardly.
"that's probably why he greeted you in the cafe" she said.
I smiled at her, and as soon as I started to walk out of the elevator, I bumped into the guy's hard chest, I looked up and saw Silas, with a smile on his face.
"Hello" he said, "everything alright?" He asked with a soft chuckle.
"Yes" I answered quickly.
"Are you going home?" He asked, glancing briefly at Emma before his gaze rested on me.
"Yes" I said, remembering that I hadn't called a taxi yet.
"Emma you won't be so mad if I steal her?" He said with a smirk, looking at Emma.
"She's all yours" she said, "I'll see you in a few days Ellery"before walking away.
"bye" i said.
"I'm going to my office, I need to pick up one folder with me" he said, "you can go with me if you want" He said quickly, holding up the elevator.
"Yes, of course" I said as we entered the elevator together.

I closed my eyes as the elevator started to go up and that strange feeling went through my legs.
"Everything is fine?" Silas asked as I opened my eyes.
"Yes, I'm just not a fan of elevators" I answered with a small smile.
Silas walked straight towards the office. He took a folder from his desk, and I saw 'Laguna row project' written on it. All the web pages wrote about it, he has amassed huge fortunes for this company.
"This is a project you created?" I asked him, looking at the folder in his hands.
"Yes" he answered shortly, starting to walk towards me, "you know it?" He asked, raising one eyebrow and stopping next to me.
"Of course, this is the best project of the year" I answered him in a serious tone of voice, "and it is my favorite" I quietly added, smiling slightly.
"Glad to hear that at least someone liked it" Silas said with a big smile.

I began to follow him back, towards the elevator, sighing. I'll have to get used to using it if
I don't want to climb a lot of stairs.
"If you're so afraid of elevators, why don't you take the stairs?" He asked when we got down to the parking lot.
"Do you know how much I have to climb up and down in a day?" I asked him, frowning.
He raised both his hands as if nothing had been said. And I just shook my head. Only after getting into the car I put on my seat belt and Silas chuckled quietly.
"Are you always so careful?" he asked starting the engine
"What do you mean?" Frowning, I asked him.
"You fasten your seat belt, you don't talk much, and things like that," he replied shrugging his shoulders.
I looked at him and saw that he doesn't have his seatbelt on.
"You should wear your seat belt too" I told him, changing the subject.

He laughed, but didn't do what I asked, so I just turned my eyes to the window, looking at the view of downtown New York. Turning around, I looked at Silas his one hand is on the steering wheel and the other on his leg. His brown eyes focused on the road.
"Tell me something" He said looking at me briefly.
"I really don't know what I need to tell you," I whispered to him.
"You have a boyfriend?" After a few seconds of silence, Silas asked
"No" I said quickly, scratching my lips I don't like this topic.
"Have you ever had one?" Silas had the crooked smile that appears when he's just starting to think dirty.
"Silas, I'm not ten years old, what do you think?" I answered him, and he raised both eyebrows, not expecting such an answer from me.
"There are girls who protect themselves until the wedding"
He said seriously.
"Well, I'm not that girl" I answered, looking at him.
That means I was wrong," he replied, running his tongue across his lower lip.
"What do you mean?" I asked with a slight frown.
"That you are innocent and shy," he said,
stopping in the parking lot and with his brown eyes
looking at me.
