Ellery_

I looked up from the computer screen to see Silas standing in front of me in a black suit.
He winked at me with one eye and then a big smile appeared on his face.
"Ellery, could you get me some coffee from the cafe downstairs?" He asked, his voice sweet.
I nodded my head to him, smiling pleasantly. Right after we kissed, we didn't talk about it, we hardly talk at all from that moment, I think that Silas simply regrets what he did, that's why he tries to forget everything by communicating less with me.
As soon as I got out of the elevator, Emma gave me an unpleasant look from her workplace. I cringed when I saw that strange look on her face, but then I heard screams from Mr. Garcia's office, which Silas entered while I was leaving for coffee.
"How dare you treat her like that" Silas' very angry voice reached my ears.
I heard Mr. Garcia say something to him in a normal tone of voice, but soon Silas' angry voice was heard again. I looked at Emma without understanding.
"What are they talking about?" I asked Emma, placing my purse on the desk.
"You" she said sadly.
My brows furrowed even more at her answer. What the hell should they be talking about me?

"Silas enough! She is my employee not yours, her job is to work not to rest" Mr. Garcia angrily said to Silas just then I walked through the door.
Both of their eyes looked at me and I saw the confusion on Mr. Garcia's face and Silas gave me a sad look.
"Silas, here's your coffee" I told him in a pleasant tone of voice and handed it to him.
"Thanks, Ellery" Silas said with a sigh, "she's going to England with me, I'll need an assistant" Silas announced to his father in a harsh tone of voice.
"Okay" Mr. Garcia answered him in the same tone of voice.
Silas took me by the arm and dragged me out of his father's office.
"Is everything alright?" I asked him, still not understanding what had just happened here.
"Yes," he replied, his voice still angry.
"Were you talking about me?" I asked that in a softer tone.
"No" That's how he answered, heading towards the elevator.
As soon as the elevator doors opened, Silas came through them like a whirlwind and pressed the button several times, as the elevator doors closed, I saw the guy turn his head up.

"They were talking about you" Emma told me in a low voice.
"Why?" Still frowning, I asked her,
without understanding anything at all.
"Silas was angry on his father for giving you not much days off and you have to work at home" Emma said quickly.
I sighed heavily, running my hand over mine
hair I slowly walked back into Mr. Garcia's office,
after knocking on it.
"I wanted you to apologize for Silas's behavior, I really like working here"
I said as I approached Mr. Garcia's desk.
The man slowly turned to me and stood near me, smiling.
"I understand you Ellery, Silas sometimes is too much aggressive and overreacts to what people tell him" Mr. Garcia told me as he took my hand in his.
"Yes" I said awkwardly and pulled my hands from his hands "I'm going to continue working" I said quickly.
"Okay" I replied with a smile.

I felt anxiety rising inside me, from so strange
Mr. Garcia's behavior. Or so it seems to me
or this man was really flirting with me.
I locked the door after entering the house. I started looking for Silas, and found him on the balcony, smoking cigarettes.
"How dare you do that?" I asked him angrily, trying to hold back my hatred.
"What i did?" He asked as if not understanding anything.
"Talking to your father like that? You have no rights to talk about me"' I told him still in an angry tone of voice.
"He can't act like that Ellery" His voice was harsh
Silas said, putting out his cigarette and walking past me into the house.
"And you can't speak for me, I need this job"
Running my hand through my hair, I answered him and I followed him into the kitchen.
"I just wanted to help," replied Silas, leaning against the kitchen table.
"I don't need your help" I twisted
can't stand him anymore.

"Ellery, you don't know what my father is like! You live with your pink glasses on and you think this job is the best in all of New York, but it's not. Don't come to me or talk to me when you're in trouble, because I won't help such a selfish, how are you" I took a step back as Silas started yelling at me, my reflexes just kicked in.
I wanted him to apologize for his behavior to him as well to say I'm not selfish, but he silenced me.
"Shut up Ellery and think less of yourself" That's it
he said he passed by me.
I stood still for a few seconds, and didn't even blink because of his behavior. Now I feel confused because his words are wrong and I find it extremely strange to see him used like this such inappropriate words for him.
