Chapter 5: Midnight Chats

Valentina's eyes widened in surprise. Taylor? She hadn't expected this. She quickly typed her response,

Valentina:
"Taylor? Is this really you?"

The response was swift and tinged with humor.

Taylor:
"The one and only. I hope I'm not disturbing you at this late hour."

Valentina's curiosity got the best of her.

Valentina:
"Not at all, Taylor. I just couldn't sleep, and your message caught me by surprise."

Taylor replied almost instantly,

Taylor:
"Well, I guess that makes two of us. I saw you at the dinner last night, and it got me thinking..."

Valentina felt a flutter of nerves. What could Taylor Swift want to talk to her about? She typed,

Valentina:
"What were you thinking about?"

There was a pause before Taylor's response appeared on the screen.

Taylor:
"I was thinking about how we didn't really get a chance to talk. It was a busy evening, and I wanted to get to know you better."

Valentina blinked at the message. Taylor Swift wanted to get to know her better? This was unexpected. She typed,

Valentina:
"I didn't know you were interested in talking to me. After the NDA, I thought..."

Taylor's response was quick, and it seemed sincere.

Taylor:
"The NDA was just a formality, Val. It's just that, well, I was curious about you."

Valentina pondered this. Taylor's curiosity had led her to reach out, and Valentina couldn't deny she was intrigued as well. She decided to be honest, typing,

Valentina:
"I was curious too, Taylor. About you, I mean."

Taylor:
"Oh really? 😏 I must admit, I was quite captivated by you last night."

Valentina chuckled softly, feeling a sense of ease in their conversation.

Valentina:
"Likewise, Taylor. You're not what I expected."

As the night deepened, their conversation flowed effortlessly. Taylor's flirtatious messages were subtle but filled with warmth and intrigue.

Taylor:
"You know, Valentina, I have to admit, your performance at gala the other night was quite... captivating. 😏"

Valentina:
"😳"
"Thank you, Taylor. Your music has been a big part of my life, so meeting you was a dream come true that night."

Taylor:
"I'm glad to hear that! Maybe we can talk more about dreams over a glass of wine sometime. 🍷"

Valentina:
"That sounds lovely, Taylor. Wine and conversation, my two favorite things."

Taylor:
"Excellent! And who knows, maybe there's a surprise or two in store for you. 😉"

Valentina:
"Oh? Now you've piqued my curiosity."

Taylor:
"A little mystery adds some excitement, don't you think? 😘"

Valentina:
"Absolutely. I do enjoy a good mystery."
