JULIETTE CASAS put on her black yumiko leotard which was her lucky audition one that she's worn since her first audition for hogwarts for the last time.

this was a nostalgic day for her. 7 years ago on this day, she was an eleven year old girl hoping to be a party girl and not a rat. this year she wants to be sugarplum fairy.

if you told eleven year old juliette casas where she was now, she'd laugh at you and call you a liar, stubborn as always.

as juliette put her hair in a bun and packed her bag, she did her pre ballet ritual of quickly manifesting for a good turn day, successful balance in center, etc. today, she was manifesting for any of her dream lead roles. after all, it was her last year at hogwarts, why not dream big?

juliette pulled open the glass doors of studio 5 in the ballet wing, and immediately went to her barre spot. next to windows, closest to the mirrors. this has been her spot since year 1, no one else dared to take it.

she'd bought new pointe shoes for the semester to wear in rotation. if there's anything juliette despised about ballet, it was buying pointe shoes. she has to spent about fifteen hundred dollars on pointe shoes each school year, each lasting a couple weeks.

once her pointe shoes were on, she started warming up, which is why she arrived to every class and audition 30 minutes early. empty studio time was her favorite time. she gets to think about everything that's going on in her life right now. friends, family, opportunities, things like that.

"and side, side, side, side, finish!" madame wright commanded as she ended barre with her senior girls, "good job, now move the barres please,"

juliette started to mentally prepare herself for center, where hogwarts is notorious for hosting the most unique auditions. they would learn a combo from each part, and the top five rotate lead spots, while 20 others rotate in background spots.

for the seniors, the order always went, sugarplum fairy, arabian coffee, waltz of the snowflakes, waltz of the flowers, chinese tea, spanish hot chocolate, marzipan, and harlequin doll. it seemed to be perfectly ranked by nerves for juliette.

"tombe pas de bourree, glissade, grand jete, and finish! beautiful!" madame wright exclaimed as the audition finally came to an end.

juliette quickly ran to her water bottle, gulping down several mouthfuls of iced water.

"thank you girls, you are dismissed,"

juliette and the other girls went to curtsy and say thank you to madame wright before grabbing their bags and leaving the studio.

"theo!" juliette exclaimed, heavily out of breath.

"julesy! how'd you do?" theo said, bringing in juliette for a hug.

juliette collapsed into the hug, saying, "definitely most intense one yet,"

"well that makes me excited!" theo sarcastically responded, "it's my turn now, i love you, go take a nap, bye!"

"good luck, i love you too!" juliette managed out before sprinting back to her dorm and immediately taking a long nap.
