the two have been have been staring at each other for what seems like an eternity to them, but was only a few moments in reality.

that is until the other person, the owner, clears her throat which startles both of the introverts, the bluette rushes to cover their face, too embarrassed as to what just happened and not being able to process any of it, while percy perks up and move his arms to his sides.

it's awkward for a second as the two are not trying to look at each other, but desperately wanting to. the silence is broken by percy "so, uh, the bouquet" he starts side-eying the teen with a slightly flustered face. they perk up "oh! right!" they say. "do you, um, wanna follow me over there so we can work on it?" percy asks, trying hard to act professional, the bluette just makes a sound of approval.

As Percy turns to lead the two, his heart can't stop racing 'what just happened??? this never happened before. what was that??? omg they are gonna think im such a big loser if i keep acting weird' he thinks to himself.

as they arrive at the arrangement table they stand divided by it, wishing that it wasn't. The teen plays with their headphones, nervous and anxious about the encounter, as percy starts talking to them and they don't pick up what he's saying they move to take them off from around their neck and lay them down to the side. being too scared to ask the man before them to repeat himself, they just nod. percy. slightly confused at the gesture decides to ask again but differently "so, are these for someone special? or is it for an occasion?" he prays that they don't reply with "they are for my partner". 'oh please let them be single' he thinks.

"they are for putting on a grave" they quietly reply, percy suddenly feels bad about his earlier thoughts, "oh, i'm sorry to hear that, if you don't mind, whos is it?" he asks them. He knows he shouldn't, and normally he wouldn't normally. but he can't help himself this time.

they avoid his gaze, which breaks his heart. "well, do you know what kinda flowers you want?" he tries again, offering a sympathetic smile, they just shake their head. percy sighs, "do you want me to just pick some for you?" he asks them calmly, which they nod their head to in agreement.

percy steps away to gather some greenery and flowers, 'well, they aren't very talk active, huh? tho since they are here for grave flowers i can't really blame them, who knows what happend, i should just try my best to be helpful. Maybe I should cheer them up too? let's hope they like jokes i guess' he thinks to himself as he gathers all his materials and tools.

as he comes back and starts putting everything together, he can't help but notice them staring at him, watching him closely, watching his every move, he notes how adorable they look like this.

he tries to throw in a few jokes here and there, which don't really seem to do anything, bruising his ego a little every time. before long, he's done.

he's made a beautiful bouquet with roses, lilies, calla lilies, dahlias, ranunculus and tulips. is a beautiful entourage of coral, yellows, pinks, greens and white.

teen stands in awe at how pretty it is, 'he's got quite the artsy eye, huh' they think, eyeing both the flowers and their maker in front of them. which doesn't go unnoticed by percy of course, for he looks at them right back, they have gone back to staring at each other for a moment, not knowing what to do with themselves, that's when they hear the owner in the front "if you two are done pls pay for the flowers" which snaps the teen right out of it, with an "of course" they go to grab their wallet as percy watches on, they are blushing slightly and have the smallest of pouts, 'it's adorable' he thinks.
