Chapter Three: Talking to you is like a Drug

its a new day, the blue haired teen is soundly sleeping, their chest steadily sinking and rising, curled up like this they look like a kitten, that is until they are disturbed by their phone alarm going off, reminding them to eat and drink water, as they open their eyes groggily they are disoriented, turning to turn off their alarm, then just lay there, staring at their phone.

they go to grab their headphones, only to remember they forgot it, just like that they feel stupid again, 'stupid pretty flower man, making me distracted so i forget my headphones, with his pretty eyes and awkwardly adorable smile..' as they lose themselves to the thought of Percy they hear a scratching noise on their door followed by tiny meows, "nuggit and burgr want in" shellsea calls from outside the door "let them come" the one the cats long for response from the other side, and so two of the many cats come strolling into the bluettes room, rushing to their bed and immediately demanding cuddles and kisses, which the teen lovingly gives.

 after a little while light knocking rings through the room again and the question "you wanna eat something?" echos , that's when their tummy starts to rumble, it appears that they didn't know they were hungry till just now, after asking for the cats permission to stand up, they leave the room fast enough to not fall victim to the love of the two gremlins once more.

Today things were normal, the oldest and youngest are watching an episode of gravity falls while eating, Zack comes trotting down the stairs to go fetch a pudding as he usually does, preferring the sweet snack over a proper meal.

The bluette goes to get something to eat too, as the two introverts are mingling trying to get food, the oldest notices both of them "eyyy, there are my fav hermit crabs!! good morning" he says with a proud smile, to which zack just scoffs and ignores the older one.

jay, being used to reactions like this turns his attention to the other one "we were gonna do something today, weren't we?" he asks haven completly forgotten what it was, the teen nods and reminds him that they needed to go to the flower shop to go get their headphones, "right, right!! flowers, got it, welp then go get ready, so we can go. also, if you want we can go grab lunch for everyone on the way back" he says while standing up and stretching, shellsea cheers at the sound of lunch. zack scuffs again complaining about people and the noises as we walks off with his pudding.

the teen, after shoving a snack into their mouth gets ready to head out, as they are about to grab their headphones, they once again remember that they aren't there, feeling silly they just grab their phone, the walk there will be loud and unpleasing, but at least they are getting lunch out of it. 

that's when they think of percy again, they stop, then they grab a pen and quickly write down their number onto a sticky note, shoving that into their pocket, they are going to attempt to give this to Percy, to make up for unknowingly rejecting him yesterday.

As they walk, their heart keeps beating faster the closer they get to the shop.

it's a good 20 mins till they have arrived at front of it, jay looks to his little sibling as to ask if they are sure that they don't wanna stay outside, and really wanna come in with him, knowing they don't like people and tight spaces. the teen looks determined, tho a little shaky, they know they can do this. and so the two step into the store.

right away the owner greets the two "oh, welcome you two, it's so good to see you again" sounding friendly, but loud. the teen moves to hide behind their brother, clutching onto his arm as they stand behind him.
