If Lexie never died in the airplane crash, Jo would be able to meet her?

All Lexie remembered was that the plane was having difficulties due to the weather and suddenly the plane fell from the sky. She and Alex were on their way with Arizona, who was visiting Seattle Grace, to a patient that was nearby to transport them to the hospital. By the orders of Cristina Yang, the new head of the Cardiovascular surgery department. The patient was a child who needed a heart. When she came to, she saw the sky through the trees. There was a burning aroma that violated her senses. She was pulled up by someone and that was Owen Hunt.

"Oh my god. We crashed?" Lexie realized. She can freak out later.

"Yes. Are you okay?" Owen asked.

"Yes. I don't have any trauma other than the cut on my forehead." Lexie did a checklist in her head and looked herself over. "Where is Alex and Arizona?"

"Luckily, I had a flare gun and a satellite phone. I called for help." Owen said. "I haven't been able to find either of them."

Lexie looked around at the wreckage. The pilot was covered with a spare sheet which only meant that Owen found him and declared him dead.

"Let's split up," Lexie said. She headed in one direction and Owen went in another.

Owen was so thankful he was alive. He needed to get to Germany and fix what mess he created with Teddy. He was so stupid and blind to not notice that she was crushing on him. It made sense when she asked for the two to spend time together alone. He always thought they were just being the best friends that they were back when they were serving and working at the same place. Now it all makes sense.

Lexie looked around and found Alex. His leg was broken as per her judgment of the bone sticking out. He was breathing hard as he cursed to get his leg adjusted. She ran over and helped stabilize his leg.

"Thank you, Lexie," Alex said appreciatively. "I think it's infected. Go to the cabin for anything that can be used to kill off bacteria."

Lexie nodded and ran to find the cabin and rummaged through. She found some rubbing alcohol which should do it. However, it is ill-advised but she wanted to help decrease his leg from becoming septic and he would lose it. She came back prepped his leg and handed him something to bite down on. "You will need this cause it's going to hurt like a bitch."

He nodded and bit down on the object. She poured the rubbing alcohol on his leg, and he heard him scream through the object. She cleaned it as much as she could. "There. But I assess that if we don't get help soon you will lose the leg."

"I know. It doesn't bother me. Is Owen and Arizona alive?" Alex asked.

"Owen is alive and went to find her. He also called for help." Lexie said.

"Good. The pilot alive?" Alex asked.

"No. They are dead." Lexie said.

"Go help, Owen. I will be okay. My vitals are stable for now." Alex said.

Lexie got up and went to look for Owen. She heard Owen and ran over. He found Arizona being crushed underneath the biggest part of the aircraft. Upon looking, Lexie knew that there was no way for Arizona to survive. The torso was completely under the wreckage and without proper viewing, she suspected that she was paralyzed. There was blood around the impacted part of the plane which only meant she would have a few hours and would be bleeding out. Lexie sighed as she said, "She is going to die."

"Help me help her?" Owen asked.

"If you try to move the aircraft you might just kill her." Lexie reasoned.

"I can't feel my legs and I am having a hard time breathing Owen," Arizona said in gasps and tears. "Lexie is right. I won't be able to survive."

Lexie walked over and sat down next to Arizona. She never liked Arizona because she made Callie cry. At least she should offer comfort to a dying woman. Lexie grabbed Arizona's hand and held it tight. Arizona's pulse was weakening and her grip on Lexie's hand was fading. Owen went to find Alex to assist him.
