"Joanne I said I was coming. New York traffic sucks. I'm literally down the street. Stop stressing me out." I say on the phone and my best friend sucks her teeth before giggling like an idiot. And I roll my eyes.
"Fine. But people keep staring at me. Im uncomfortable so please hurry." She whine
"I'm pulling up right now! You look hot bitch that's why people are staring!" I say and she laughs loudly. I park my car and hang up the phone before I step out I run to her and she hugs me back
"Oh, I miss you bitch!!" She says and I giggle.
"I miss you too ugly. Look at you. You look great!" I say and she laughs I grab her bag and walk to my car
"Damn. When did you get that new ride?" She asks
"Umm, Tony got it for me. As a birthday present." I say and she laughs and I giggle.
"How. Your birthday was before y'all met." She says
"Yeah, I know. It was Tom's birthday and let's just say they all got jealous when they found out Tom got me a gold necklace and earrings and stuff. So they all decided to get me a gift." I explain and she laughs
"They are so possessive and controlling," Joanne says and I giggle and nod my head. I put her bags in the car and she got in and I walked to the driver's side.
"So do I get to meet the boys?" She tease and I giggle
"Yes, you're staying at the house. So you don't have a choice." I say and she laughs
"I thought you'd hide me to the guest house." She teases and I giggle.
"I thought about it," I say and we both burst out laughing. "No, but you'll love them all. They're amazing." I say and she smiles.
"You happy?" She asks and I nod.
"Hm Hm. They make me happy......it's like they care and stuff it feels nice to be appreciated." I mumble
"Yeah? How so?" She asks and I smile
"I can do the littlest thing and they'll all be so grateful. I cook them breakfast in bed or make a whole family dinner. Or give them a massage after a long day. They'll thank me for it for days. Which is not necessary you know? But it's like it's nice." I say
"I'm glad you found someone that makes you so happy baby girl.." she smiles and I smile.
"Anyways enough about me. What do you want to do? You're in New York you wanna go out?" I ask
"No. I just want to relax. A break from all of it." She says and I smile.
"Well, we can do that. We are staying in and eating and watching TV and gossip." I say and she laughs
"That sounds good to me!" She says and I giggle. The rest of the drive we catch up on her life and she was just tired and needed a break. Even Mama wanna get a break sometimes and I don't blame her. So the next few days I'm going to help her have a good time. And help her relax for a bit. It's the least I can do.
