“ I can't cancel my date sorry” you say as you look back down at your book

You smile's widely and say “ I don't wanna sound narcissistic but that's what the people say”

“ y/n I don't know what attention you didn't get as a child to make you this annoying but I don't have time to for it, so do What I tell you and not upset me” he says with expressionless face
“mmm maybe instead of unpacking my shit you should focus on your own trauma” you say not looking up from your book

“ Disappointment!! Me !!” you say standing and slamming your book on the desk “ Tom I have done everything you've ever asked of me without objection and this one time I have to do something for myself I'm a disappointment you  yell at him
“ Sit. Tf . Down  and stop causing a scene ” he says looking noticably agitated
It was so degrading for him tom speak to you like that, like you were obligated to him, him treating you like this hurt but you couldn't let him see so you just gave him one last look before you left

Your sitting on your bed wondering how he could say that to you, of all people, the person who supports him most whose all ways been there for him. Did he actually think of you as a disappointment, why do you even care this much , why is his opinion so important to you . lost in your thoughts when you hear your door open.
“ what are you doing ” tom say's looking at you curiously
“ what do you want tom ” you say looking down playing with your fingers
“ I wanted to correct myself ” he says stepping a little closer towards you
“ what ” you say still not looking at him
“ i said you were a disappointment and that was an incorrect statement your not a disappointment to me your actually quite competent when helping me even though you complain and talk too much your help is appreciated” he said looking quite disinclined to say this
You look at him with a half smile “this is your apology ”
“im not apologizing” he say's
“but you are though ” you say smiling as he rolls his eyes
“ and you could have just say I'm sorry why do you have to be so verbose while talking”

“ anyways I still have to get ready for my date so can you leave ” you say getting up walking to your closet
“ oh no need” he say's calmly
“ what ” you say turning around, seeing a wicked smirk on his face
“what did you do” you say crossing your arms walking towards him
“lets just say Phineas is a bit busy darling ” he say's with that eerie smirk leaving the room as you stand there extremely worried
