I enter the lab gasping and slouching.
With a lot of effort I stand straight and look for the device. I heard Mathew describing it to Caleb many times so I remember what it should look like. Then suddenly I see it hidden in the corner. Straining every muscle I walk to it, type in the code and press the green button. I hope it works and hear the device buzzing .
I see some words come on the screen-
" MEMORY SERUM RELEASED". I get a feeling of accomplishment and then I feel really tired. I lay down on the floor feeling like I could fall asleep any moment now.
