Ezra POV

"Mauds!" I said, as I called out her name.

"Hm?"

"Lets go to the cafeteria at our usual spot?" I asked.

"Sure Ez, I'll just add the last few details on my science project with Jaden in the library. You can go first, I'll catch up." Maudie said.

"Why with Jaden?" I asked her.

"Oh, he's my partner for the science project. Remember? Mr. Anderson Didn't let us pick our partners so we couldn't pick each other." Maudie said.

"Oh yeahhh, I forgot Kyle was my partner. Uhm well I'll go to the cafeteria now. Love you." I said as I said the last part a ton more quietly.

"Love you too, I'll be there in 5." Maudie replied.

Jeez, how does she give me so much butterflies at once?! I didn't even think she heard that. Anyway, the library was just near the cafeteria spot me and the others always go to. But, why am I always looking at them?! I'm not jealous! right..?

"YOUR DEFINETLY JEALOUS." Kyle and Ava said.

"WHAT?! NO IM NOT! THATS RIDICULOUS, WHY WOULD I BE JEALOUS OF JADEN ASTORE WHEN I CAN BEAT HIM IN EVERYTHING EASILY??" I replied.

"Ummm Ezra, even if I'm dumb I know you jealous." Kyle said as he looked at Ava. They both nodded.

"WHAT?! IM JUST LOOKING AFTER MAUDIE MAKING SURE JADEN DOESN'T DO ANYTHING ROMANTIC OR ANYTHING?? AND ALSO, WHY SHOULD I BE JEALOUS OF HIM ANYWAY???"

"Did you forget already that before Maudie started realizing her feelings for you, she "liked" Jaden??" Ava said.

"Well uhm.."

A/N: Just to clarify, Jaden Astore is not a real character, its someone I made up. He might also return in other oneshots with different roles, ehiii ;)

Maudie POV

"Alright, I'll add the stars to the diorama now." I said. 

"Okay thenn" Jaden said as he tried hugging me from behind. 

Noticing what he's trying to do, I then moved away just before he was about to hug me.

"Why were you trying to hug me?" I asked Jaden.

"Why not, am I not allowed to hug my 'girlfriend'?" Jaden replied.

GIRLFRIEND?!

"Nice joke Jaden, im dating Ezra. So stop. I noticed you also tried holding my hand while we were walking to the library earlier. Can you stop? You're only my partner in this Science project." I confronted him.

".." He didn't reply.

I then finished adding the stars to the diorama.

"Let's get this Science project over with." I told him.

We walked to Mr. Anderson's classroom and handed over our diorama.

"And how did you contribute to this project, Maudie?" Mr. Anderson asked.

"I added the stars, and painted the box dark blue and also made the sun." I said.

"And how did you contribute, Jaden?" Mr Anderson asked Jaiden.

"I made the planets." Jaden replied.

After that, me and Jaden went to the cafeteria, and while he went over to his friends, I went over to mine.

Ezra POV

We talked about Jaden and my "jealousy" WHICH I CLEARLY DONT HAVE a few minutes more, then Maudie came and sat down.

Maudie sat next to me, and told me about what Jaden was doing.

"Ez."

"Hm?"

"Jaden tried hugging me from behind and holding my hand when we were going through the corridors."

"What the hell? Doesn't he know were dating?"

"He knows, yet he continued to call me his 'girlfriend'."

"Ok, what. the. hell."

"But, don't worry. I confronted him and I'm pretty sure he won't be doing that again."

"Anyways, what were you all talking about?"

Ava looked at me, and said "Oh nothingggg, just about the fact YOUR BOYFRIEND'S JEALOUS OF JADENNNN"

"Ez, you have nothing to be jealous about. You know the only person I love other than my dad, is you, right??" Maudie says.

"Uhm ok first off, I AM NOT JEALOUS, but he tried holding your hand??? He was trying to hug you and trying to get closer to you??? LIKE WHAT THE HELL??? WHAT PYSHCO DOES THAT??" I replied.

"Uhm, okay what? HE TRIED DOING WHAT??" Ava was shocked to hear that.

"Yeah, he tried doing that." Maudie said.

"Ok guys, we definitely underestimated the reason why Ezra's jealous." Kyle said.

"LIKE I SAID, I'M NOT JEALOUS. I WAS JUST LOOKING AT WHAT HE WAS DOING MAKING SURE HES NOT DOING ANYTHING THAT I DO TO MAUDIE."

"Uhm Ezra, that's jealousy." Ava clarified.

Maudie giggled over this little conversation.

"Well whatever, atleast he won't be bothering me now." Maudie said as she then put her head on my shoulder.

I was frozen, taken aback from her sudden action.

"OOPS, LOOKS LIKE WE "ACCIDENTALLY" RECORDED THE WHOLE THING AND TOOK A PIC OF YOU GUYS" Ava said.

"Hey!! Give me that!" I said, as I chased after Ava. I could hear Maudie giggling over this.
