Chapter 3

Yet another boring day of school, today wasn't much different except for the after-school study with Y/n. The lab from yesterday's Bio class has to be continued because some people didn't understand. Tsukki didn't mind it was just a bunch of mixing solutions.

Tsukkishima was so close to just walking home and telling Y/n he forgot. However, Y/n was already waiting for him at the front gate. 'Great' He thought, turning the volume of his headphones on low.

With hands in his pockets, Y/n saw the slender boy walk his way. He waved with a smile on his face took off his own headphones and put them in his backpack. Tsukkishima continued to walk till he was met by the older boy.

"Hey!" The h/c boy said with a bright smile. Which was matched with Tsukki's cold monotone voice.

"Hey."

Tsukkishima walked passed him, basically saying to follow. Y/n hesitated for a second but ran to catch up. The pair walked in an awkward silence. Tsukishima walked with Y/n following close behind, still unsure of how to respond.

Then the other boy spoke up, "Well since we're going to be studying together, I thought we could get to know each other too. Like....what is your favorite color?"

Y/n said with confidence, even though he was still a bit nervous. Tsukkishima looked at him for a moment, thinking about how to react to that. He didn't really like the idea of small talk. Tsukki thought for a moment, no one really asked him his favorite color except for Yamaguchi.

"Yellow maybe." He responded, Y/n's face softened getting a response out of the cold volleyball player

"That's cool, mine is f/c." Tsukki nodded

They continued to walk till Tsukki's house came into view, they walked up on the porch The tall blond walked in first then let Y/n in. Both took off their shoes and walked into the house. Akitara was at the table doing work, his mom was probably out shopping.

Hearing his little bro come home Akaitara looked up to see Kei with another person standing next to him. Kei wanted nothing more than to just walk up the stairs and not let his older brother see he was actually getting help.

"Yo, Kei who's that?" He asked, his face full of confusion.

Kei sighed, "He's helping me with homework."

"Hello!" Y/n waved, his deep voice going a little higher than expected.

Akitara was impressed and relieved that Kei was getting help.

"Hey, well that's good." He said, then went back to his own homework.

The boys walked up the stairs and into his room. It was very well-cleaned and tidy, Y/n was a very messy person when it came to his room. Y/n looked around at how clean it was, noticing some of the decorations on his shelves and wall.

Y/n noticed some Dinosure figures on a shelf along with a picture of him and his brother when they were younger. 'Cute' He thought. Tuski set his headphones on the nightstand and sat on his bed criss-cross taking his laptop and notebook out. Y/n looked a little confused about where to sit and stood there holding his bag.

Kei noticed and looked up from typing his password and pointed to his desk, "You can sit on the chair."

Y/n looked over to the neatly cleaned desk and pulled the rolling chair out. Taking out his materials he cleared his throat to begin the study session.

"So....what is it that biology has you stummbed on?", Kei scrolled through his assignments online.

"Biochemistry, I didn't do so well on the test yesterday." He took small glances at Y/n, just checking on what he was doing.
