𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝐬𝐭, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑
𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐯𝐞𝐢𝐰;

       "ADRIANA IF YOU DONT GET UP IN THE NEXT FIVE MINUTES YOUR BROTHER GETS SHOTGUN" and that was my mother making me wake up at 6:43 am on the first day of 7th grade. i've been up for the past thirty minutes i just didn't want to get up out of my bed. I've been dreading this day for the past few months, the first day of 7th grade only its in a totally new state with no one i know. I know im gonna kill it though, but if i wanna kill it im going to have to wake up and get ready. "IM UP MA" i shout. i soon get up out of bed. uhh what to wear.. i think to myself. i end up going with black cargos, an emerald green halter top and a black yankees hat, for shoes i decide to wear my Jordan 1 high pines. i look at my apple watch for the time 𝟕:𝟏𝟐 i should probably do my makeup and head downstairs. i grab my makeup bag and pull out concealer, highlighter and blush. My sister took me to get lash extensions before school as a "sorry gift" since she's one of the reasons we had to move, but ill get into that later. so i put my makeup on and grab my black JanSport backpack. i run downstairs and head to the kitchen. i check the fridge to see if theres any iced tea left and to my surprise there was one left. i took it then headed outside. for once i was the first one outside so i just stared at the outside of our house. i have to admit, it was HUGE and thats an understatement so i cant say moving was 100% a bad idea. we moved into the rich side of town so on this block is only mansions, makes me kinda feel intimidated but fake it till you make it, yk? "ADRIANA GET IN THE FUCKING CAR" i hear my sister yell "LANGUAGE ARIANA" my dad yells. "IM GOING" i say as i get into the front seat. "so first we stop by Ariana's school then ill drop you two off" my dad says "ight" my brother said, i just stood quiet. we start to slow down while we pass the highschool, my
sister opens the door and gets out the car "bye ari!" i shout "bye adri!" she says in return. around 5 minutes later we make it to the middle school. me and my brother get out the car and start walking towards the entrance. my brother sees a group of guys and he heads over to their group so i just stand there and go on tiktok. "hey" i hear some girl voice say, i look up from my phone, i see a girl around my height dressed in a white tube top and baggy jeans, she had colorful braids and they suited her really well, i then realize two girls behind her. "love your shoes girl" she says to me. "thanks girl, i love your top, it suits you" i say in return. "thanks, im megan and these two are kym and anya" she says to me. "nice to meet you guys! im Adriana" i say back to them "where are you from?" kym asks. "like my ethnicity?" i asked in a confused tone. "yeah, like your ethnicity." she says, sounding slightly annoyed. "oh im puerto rican" i say. "whoah.. thats so exotic" anya says. i think to myself.. what is this bitch saying. "uhm anyway, we wanted to know if you would want to complete our group since right now.. we are sorta a trio" megan states. "yeah sure" i said, since it would be nice to have friends in a new school. "awesome, us three are having a sleepover at kym's house today, wanna come?" anya says. "yeah ill be there, let me give you my number" i say to them. i then grab a sticky note from my backpack and write my number on it. "here" i say, handing the sticky note to megan.
"cool, meet up here after school, kym's mom is picking us up" anya said. "alright see you guys" i say as i walk inside the school.

the final bell rings as the clock hits 3:00pm. everyone grabs there things and goes to exit the school. as im walking back to the entrance i accidentally bump into someone. "oh my god
im so sorry!" i say helping the girl pick up her stuff. "its fine! dont worry about it!" she says. "whats your name?" i asked, "stacy! i havent seen you around town before.. are you new?" she asked me. "yeah! i moved into town two weeks ago from LA!" i say in an enthusiastic tone. "oh thats so cool! here let me give you my number so i can add you to the school group chat" she says as she takes my
phone out of my hand and texts herself on my
phone. "there! i cant wait to introduce you to my friends!" she says while giggling "yeah well ill see you around stacy!" i shout while i walk down the hallway. i make it to the entrance and i quickly spot megan, anya and kym. "hey guys!" i say as i walk up to them. "hey adriana" they all say in unison. "my mom should be here so-" kym states as she gets interrupted by a car honking. "thats her!" she says. "does your mom know im coming?" i whisper to kym, "yeah she does, i texted her this morning about it, apparently we live on the same street so she met your parents today" she says in response. "ohh thats wsp" i said. we then get in the car and the ride to kym's house was so awkward, it was dead silent. after like what i would want to say 7 minutes, we then pulled up to her house. "here it is!" kym says, i have to admit it was a really beautiful house. "cmon lets go inside!" anya says. we all walk inside the house and up the stairs into kym's
room. her house sort of had the same layout as mine so our bedrooms were around the same size. "cool room kym" i said while looking around. "thanks" she said to me smiling. "hey, why dont we invite people from our grade over, to have a welcome party for adriana?" megan says while looking at kym. "yeah thats smart, it would be a great way for her to get to know people" anya says. "and an excuse for the guys to come over and hang with us for" kym says agreeing with them. "okay so we are definitely gonna have a lit fucking party" i say and we all laugh. the three of them pick up their phone and start texting everyone they know. "are we inviting lydia?" anya asks. "we said invite everyone anya." megan says sounding slightly annoyed. they finally stopped texting after like 15 minutes. (how many people do these girls know 😒)

its been like an hour and we have been decorating the place and getting ready. i was in charge of ordering a shit ton of pizza, burgers and other stuff. Anya got the job to clean the pool, megan was baking desserts and kym was greeting everyone that came. i didnt bring any clothes so kym let me borrow one of her bikinis. i picked this plain white one with shells on it. i went back downstairs after changing. "girl that looks good on you" megan says to me. "everyone is in the backyard in the pool, lets go!" she says while dragging me outside. i then see a bunch of kids in the pool and then i see that stacy person with three other girls. i look to my left to see that megan disappeared. i then walk over to stacys group. "hey stacy!" i say to her. "heyy.. wait i never
got your name" stacy said, her tone slowly getting lower. "oh im adriana!" i say. "okay! well adriana, meet niki, tara and lydia, niki, tara and lydia, meet adriana!" stacy then looks at me then back at niki, tara and lydia. "hey guys! nice to meet
you!" i say, two of the girls stay quiet but lydia responds. "hey! im lydia. you seem really cool, we should definitely be friends" she says to me while smiling. "oh my god yes! you seem awesome girl!" i say while returning the smile. "oh my
god yes, where are you from?" lydia asks. "i moved from LA but im puerto rican!" i say to her. "oh my
god i guessed it! im also hispanic!" she says in reply (i have no clue where shes from but .. go along with it). "oh my god thats cool asl, wanna go in the pool with me?" i ask her not wanting to go swimming alone. she looks at me, then niki, tara and stacy, then back at me. "of course, id love to!" she says sort of holding her arm out for me to take it. we walk arm in arm to the pool while niki, tara and stacy were staring at us the whole time. i have no clue what happened but i know that this might be the start of something bad.
