        okay so.. a LOT has happened in the past few hours. first, me,megan,kym,anya and lydia were hanging out and lowkey we were having a great time. then, our group decided to invite lydia to stay the night and she said yes but apparently stacy heard it and got mad because apparently they were supposed to have a sleepover that night. so then this huge argument happened between lydia and stacy, if im going to be honest i was half asleep so i dont remember any of it, all i know is that it ended with stacy saying, "Lydia Rodriguez Katz, you are SO NOT invited to my bat mitzvah". wow harsh but good for her i guess? i dunno this was just random asl. i mean i would get mad too but idk, its not my problem. anyways, right now its almost 10am and we all woke up around an hour ago. i went to go check on my phone.. 103 messages? wtf happened when i was asleep. i went on the messages app and looked. some were from my family gc but the others were from.. "7th gradee 🤦‍♀️". it must be the group stacy was talking about. i press on it and look at the messages from yesterday.

okay so i guess we are going to the ledge? everyone is on their phone right and i dont want to break the silence, but thankfully lydia did if for me."we should probably get ready" she says. "yeah, mhm, yep" was all that was heard after that. we all get up and go to change. we all put a bathing suit under normal clothes, i had a black bikini on with a pair black jean shorts and just wore my black Yeezy slides. "my house is like just down the block so i think we can just walk" lydia says. "yeah im cool with that" i say smiling at her. we then start walking down the street until we get to lydia's house. "my parents are out of town in a court meeting right now so.. i think we are good!" lydia says trying to laugh it off. we all sort of giggle as she opens the door. then megan, kym and anya pick up their phone and go to the group chat

[TIME SKIP TO THE LEDGE 😛]

once everyone got to lydia's house we rode our bikes to the ledge.we set two blankets on the ground and sat on it. then.. a group of guys pull up on there bikes. i already knew who aaron and mateo were because my brother told me about them but there was this one guy.. he had fluffy light brown hair and dark brown eyes. im gonna admit it, he was lowkey fine. "adriana- ADRIANA?" lydia shouted. "huh- what?" i said confused. "you were staring" she whispered. i just looked at her with wide eyes. "my fault" i whispered back. the mystery dude then walked up to me and lydia then said, "whats up, im andy" he says fist bumping me and lydia. "im lydia.. and i know, we go to hebrew school together" lydia tells him. "oh ight, and who's this?" andy asks lydia, while looking at me. "i'm adriana" i tell him. "oh ight cool" he says then walks back to the boys. me and lydia look at each other and start squealing. "oh my god, did you see the way he looked at you!" lydia says in excitement. "i know! oh my god!" i say back. (A/N: adriana is so delusional 😭) "i should warn you though, andy is stacy's crush.." lydia whispers to me. bitch it's middle school, you are bound to share a crush with someone, i thought to myself. "its fineee" i said. "if you say so" she says and then shrugs. "i dare one if you guys, to jump in!" aaron says. "jump off the ledge, aaron? you'd break both legs on impact, and your spine" matteo says with concern in his tone. "yeah, i heard melissa quinto's cousin jumped, and she now has to text with her nose,
so, no."  kym says. "looks like it might be fun" andy says. "hey, I'd jump if i didnt have my contacts in" aaron says while looking at the ledge nervously. "oh, id be happy to hold them for you, aaron" lydia says sarcastically. everyone starts laughing. "ohh shit, you cant see" andy says while laughing. "ill do it" i say while shrugging. everyone stopped laughing and looked at me. "what, you cant be serious" lydia says. "im serious" i say back to her, i wasn't nervous, ive done this plenty of times before. "you'd jump in? that.. thats sick." andy says while looking at me. "lets see it" megan says. "ight bet" i say, all i can hear are the whispers around me saying, "no way", "oh shit". "hey if she jumps, its my idea guys" aaron said. "we dont know if thats shallow" someone said. before i can think i step back while i was doing that, all i could here was "shes not going to do it" or "if she dies, we weren't here". "sanchez, yoo you got this lets go!" i hear andy shout. "lets get it!" aaron shouts. i then start running then i jump off. everyone's jaw dropped as i dropped. all i could here was people whispering or laughing then, i hear the sound of the water as i drop in and go underneath. i then swim up to the top. "oh my
god!" "holy shit!" everyone says while im swimming up. "WOOO ADRIANA!!" lydia shouts. "that was unreal!" anya shouts. everyone is clapping and cheering for me, lowkey that felt amazing. "YOO ADRIANA SANCHEZ, YOUR A FUCKING LEGAND!!" andy shouts from the ledge. "mhmm, thats how i do it!" i shout back. everyone then goes silent and turns around. "oh if you think thats good, watch me do better" i hear a voice say. then i hear a splash, for a quick second i see.. it was stacy??. then the cheering came back up again as people chanted mine and stacy's names. "whats.. that" andy says pointing to stacy's side of the river. i look over at her and right next to her is.. a bloody pad? oh my
god thats so embarrassing. everyone starts histarically laughing, as stacy stands there in shock. "yo.. stacy just turned the ledge into the red sea" andy says, everyone laughs even harder. stacy gets out of the water and i follow her. "stacy, do you need a pad o-" i say before i get cut off. "no adriana! first you steal lydia from me now andy!" she shouts at me. "i dont know what your talking about stacy.. im just trying to help" i tell her. "yeah well all your doing right now is ruining it even more!" she yells. "whatever stacy, your being a fucking brat" i tell her while going back to the top of the ledge. "whatever to you too!" she shouts again. "god wtf is wrong with her" i mumble as i grab a towel from my
bag. "yo.. i just wanted to say that was badass" andy says walking up to me. "mhm, thanks andy" i said. "don't listen to what stacy said" andy says, softening his tone. "yeah um thanks andy" i said giving him a high five. i have no clue what just happened.. but whatever it is, it made moving 100x worth it.
