Amelia wasn't as upset as Harry was over the broomsticks, at least she still had her old one. It was one of the older nimbus' not quite as good as a broom as Harry had, but a better one than most the team.

Harry, however was still being pressured by Wood to buy a better broomstick, but when he found that Harry had gotten one and it had been confiscated he went to find McGonagall himself.

Harry hadn't seen a lot of Amelia, from what he heard she was having private lessons from Dumbledore and Lupin, thought that could have just been gossip.

Amelia's lessons with Dumbledore had been going well, and she'd successfully managed to block out vision whenever she touched anyone, and she'd even been able to hug Professor Lupin whilst maintain a clear mind  - much to his relief as he was rather unsure about her finding out about his secret.

Dumbledore however still held with the rule against Harry, much to Amelia's shock. If she could now control it what was the problem? She didn't question the man however, and simply gave him a curt nod.

With the match between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw drawing nearer, Amelia found herself excitedly talking about her next game, and although most would have thought her nervous considering what happened the first time around, she merely stated that it couldn't get any worse, so the only way was up.

"Amelia! Amelia!" she heard someone shout her name and whirled around to see Ron, clutching a firebolt in his hands as if it was his most prized possession. He came to a standstill in-front of her, huffing and puffing.

"McGongall - said - you - can - have - this - back," he gasped for air. Amelia took the broom with a bemused smile on her face.

"Thankyou Ron," she said.

"Woah," George marvelled from behind her "Is that a firebolt? Who sent it?"

Amelia shrugged "No idea," she said.

Cassie, Mandy and Evi cornered her, stating that although they were all Ravenclaws they would still be cheering for their friend.

"And if you get a chance to knock Cho Chang off her broom take it," Mandy said lowly "She's been eyeing up my Cedric,"

Amelia laughed "He ain't yours Mandy, he's single,"

But the girl rolled her eyes "He's mine in my head," she said with a laugh.

"Don't know why you like him Mandy, he's a twat," Evi said sullenly. She had been rather glum recently, following her breakup with Theodore Nott, and was now opposed to all men.

"Aw chin up Evi, there's plenty of fish in the sea," said Fred

The twins had not left Amelia's side after they returned to Hogwarts, and even sat with her at the Ravenclaw table. Fred had taken quite the shine to the smallest Ravenclaw, who was so preoccupied in her breakup, she seemed not to have noticed.

"We should start getting ready," Amelia said, "The match will start soon,"

The twins and Amelia started walking to the changing rooms, with Fred asking many questions about Evi.

"What does that Theodore Nott guy have that I don't?" he asked thoughtfully. Fred's ego wasn't too bruised, he was more curious on how the girls mind worked.

Amelia rolled her eyes "Dunno, she liked Nott because he was confident and made her laugh,"

"Why did they break up?" asked George. Amelia sighed.

"It's quite sad actually, Evi caught him with another girl when they were supposed to meet. Apparently her blood status wasn't the only reason he wanted to keep it a secret,"
