Okay so welcome to another blog of mine today I'm going to talk about the first ever wrestling company in Mexico which basically was in the early 1930s so while the United States was going through the Great Depression Mexico decided to build a wrestling company which originates from a lot of Mexican wrestlers Lucha Libre Style mainly is the origin of I know some people are going to say well what about WWE or the being the first wrestling company that's technically not correct because WWE didn't start and until a couple years later and I will get into that in a little bit.

Now the wrestling company I'm talking about is basically CMLL now this company started in 1933 a man named Salvador. Now this man was mainly a politician but during the early 1930s he came up with an idea of taking some of the some of the styles from the Roman wrestling and he turned that into what we know today is Lucha Libre back then in the 30s it was actually called empressa Mexicana de Lucha Libre which is basically now known as El consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre.

The year 1942 Mexican wrestling would change for many years to come as well as generation after generation. And that's because one of the top Idols in Lucha Libre would have his name remembered for many many years to this day everybody knows who or knows the name of El Santo which in English that translates to the saint. His debut was in Mexico City he was known as a masked wrestler doing his debut he one but that didn't stop him from reaching Fame so quick and a quick instant the public fans fell in love with this mysterious man who wore mask and has become one of the most popular luchadores in Mexico.

Now through his career which was nearly for five decades and I can imagine that five decades he has won belts hair and even masks from other wrestlers who have challenged in those type of matches now and those matches are harder but that's it for different topic or different day. Now this Luchador became a book lord hero a symbol of Justice in other words he became like a superhero for young kids young teenagers for families all around.  He had his appearances and comic books movies even when the Lucha Libre was getting popular it got Papa because of him and obviously other wrestlers and these are the wrestlers became a legendary and legends such as Blue Demon and Mil mascara.

But in the 1950s TVs we're beginning to be more popular and they were able to Showcase or stream barrier air these events in Lucha Libre which every little kid love to see the favorite hero Plus luchadores and from Mexico are basically more traditional and we know now that what the company looks for is charisma that they know how to talk they look tough physical what like WWE and AEW look for in a wrestler but it Mexico it was not like that it was more of the okay you're going to perform grapple you're going to be doing submissions or you're going to be a striker but all that it didn't matter how tall you were how small your weight or anything most of these luchadores do Ariel maneuvers which is a lot harder to perfect than anything not just that but also in WWE know that they used to have a belt or a division that was a Cruiserweight the idea came from obviously again from Mexico because they were the one that started different divisions they had a world heavyweight they had a cruising weight a lightweight they even had like a title for The Minis I didn't obviously they had the women's division.

Another thing that's different is that these young luchadores start at a very sort of young age the early teens mid teens and they don't perfect the area or the high flying moves until their mid-20s and some examples of that having have to be Rey Mysterio Jr having to get it up super crazy Eddie Guerrero all of these names that everybody instantly knows who they are we're already in the mid 20s as experienced so they started as being young teenagers but didn't perfect high fly moves until the mid-20s that's shows how much dedication and how tough it is to learn that you cannot do that over time it's a quick long process on working because it's not basically okay just get on top of the rope and fly no you just moves to it so that way no wrestler gets injured and the Restless doesn't end up getting injured as well so it's a lot.

But the thing that's funny that it wasn't just in Mexico but a lot of wrestlers from Japan actually came down to Mexico so they could train with some of the best of the best wrestlers so they could learn their style and they would take their Style and go back to Japan with it but obviously they would change it up a little bit because in Japan it's really rare that they do high flying manures the more of a kicking striking they do weights like no they depend on the on the high the speed so it's really rough for them to do a high flame move or risky move that does not mean that that they're not want to try oh yeah there are like I said the top stars from Japan learned from my from Los luchador es, no a lot of people sometimes would wonder why do they wear masks you know why do they hide their face it's not that they're hiding it this actually goes back all the way to the Aztecs and it was basically like a symbol of hiding their identity for a challenge so whoever wanted to challenge them they will get the reward and if a wrestling lost their masks it's heartbreaking really really heartbreaking because that's the only thing that they have most wrestlers retire after losing the mask but then there's some that weighed out because they actually did the same way if the wrestler loses their mask they weigh a couple years and they could wear a new mask within your name or sometimes most wrestling do what they always do and then they just rest without the mask but there's a couple of wrestlers that have not lost their Mass but passed away still wearing them at the funeral one of them has to do El Santo I believe black abyss La parka and I believe Blue Damon I might be missing a couple more but these for wrestlers where the icon or the heroes of young children who basically never lost kept the mask but sadly passed away.

Anyway moving on to what El consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre is this this year or how it's basically evolved and dinner involve much because they're still with the same concept that they've been doing the past hundred years yes they just completed their 100 years anniversary crazy Halo but what they rely on is basically just the shows them promoting or who's going to wrestle that that day but I feel like they could have gone more farther if they would have made a movie made it so some type of game for like an Xbox or whatever console but hey no they're still going strong and I'm impressed by that but anyways that's all for today I hope everybody has a good night again any suggestions just please send me a message or comment that'll be fine I'll see you about to another ziplock tomorrow I might do one of the other company which is that one has a little history with this one and it's might get a little good on the rivalries between two big companies and trust me I don't think you would want to miss this anyway have a great night everybody have a great day hope you're reading this during the day see you all next time.
