I woke up the next morning, my eyes swollen from crying myself to sleep. I decided to get off my bed and go get something to eat at the coffee shop.

I left my house and walked to the coffee shop, looking at the scenery around me, although its not as nice as it was yesterday, its very cloudy outside and looks like its going to rain today.

I got to the coffee shop and walked in the door, I said hi to my best friend Lily, that works there, but she looked at me with a sad look and pointed to a poster hanging on the wall with my face and name on it. Oh shit...

I looked back at her and then I heard the shop doors open and looked at the entrance to see the king and a couple of his guards standing there aiming their guns at me.

I looked back at Lily and ran towards the back jumping behind the counter and crouched down to avoid the gunfire.

"Here follow me" She said I nodded and followed her towards the back door of the coffee shop."Come on this way" I followed her towards her car, trying to drown out the gunfire behind us. "Ok get in, heres the keys, get away as fast as you can"

"WAIT YOUR NOT COMING?!" I said very loudly.

"No, I'll distract them" she responded

"No, Lily I can't let you do that for me"

"It'll be ok"

"No you'll die"

"Jeff we don't have time for this just please go"

"Just come with me"

"No...just...go" tears welled up in both of our eyes "please just go"

"Just please don't die"

"Ill try not to" she smiled at me, closed the door and ran off

"Damnit" I hit the top of the wheel, started the car and drove away with the paper crown in my lap. The moment I started driving, I heard gunshots, I hesitated but looked in the rearview mirror to see Lily frozen with the king holding his gun up to her forehead, then she fell to the ground, dead.
